From day one, I create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe to be themselves. I combine deep empathy with clinical insight, allowing me to connect with clients on a human level while still providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I listen carefully—not just to what is said, but to what’s underneath—and I help clients put words to experiences they may have carried alone for a long time.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I bring warmth, curiosity, and non-judgment into every session, which helps clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions and patterns at their own pace. I’m attuned to each person’s unique story and strengths, and I tailor my approach rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model. I balance compassion with honesty, offering gentle challenges when they’re needed and support when things feel overwhelming.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am attuned to differences in communication styles, sensory needs, processing speed, and emotional expression, and I adapt my approach to meet each client where they are. I collaborate rather than prescribe, working alongside clients to identify strategies that align with their nervous systems, values, and lived realities rather than the societal or neurotypical expectations. I am intentional about pacing, language, and consent, ensuring that clients feel empowered and in control of their therapeutic process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I believe that there are endless variations of human experience, and I prioritize acceptance, curiosity, and respect in the therapeutic relationship. My clients feel safe being themselves with me—unmasked, honest, and fully human.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Although no treatment method is ever one-size fits all, Strengths-Based is treatment is something that I have found to be extremely impactful and effective with assisting individuals in identifying and recognizing their own strengths and learning to focus on utilizing these strengths as tools to promote their own positive growth and change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and actions all influence each other. We’ll look at patterns that might be keeping you stuck and work together to find new and more helpful ways of thinking and responding. It’s very practical and focused on real-life situations, with tools you can use between sessions—not just during therapy.

Supportive

I use a supportive approach to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel understood. My role is to listen, validate your experiences, and offer encouragement as you navigate challenges. The focus is on helping you feel supported, grounded, and more confident as you work through what’s going on in your life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach that focuses on you and what feels most important in your life. I aim to create a warm, accepting space where you feel heard and respected, and where you can move at your own pace. Rather than telling you what to do, I support you in exploring your feelings and trusting your own strengths to guide growth and change.

Christian Counseling

I offer Christian counseling for clients who want to include their faith in the therapy process. When helpful, we can explore how your beliefs, values, and relationship with God connect to what you’re going through. Therapy remains respectful and client-led, with faith-based perspectives gently integrated to support healing, growth, and hope.
