Hi, I'm Richelle. I'm a licensed professional clinical counselor with over eight years of experience helping individuals improve their mental health and quality of life. I have worked in a variety of settings, including online therapy. Right now, life may feel hard. You’ve faced many challenges that seemed to have come out of nowhere, and you're constantly doing your best to navigate through them. You struggle to set healthy boundaries and often feel overwhelmed. Asking for help isn't always easy. You may say to yourself, “What will people think? I can figure it out on my own.” It’s tough because you usually go at it alone, carrying the load and bearing the burden. However, deep down inside, you know that something isn't quite right and that you could use some support. Does this sound familiar? As someone who has been there before, I understand how tough it can be to take that first step to reach out. While you may feel like you have to handle everything yourself, these are the times when reaching out for help can give you some direction and help you find your path forward. The truth is, it takes strength and courage to say, “I need help.” And when you do, you'll find that you have the inner strengths and abilities to make meaningful change in your life. Together, we can work to discover those strengths and create a path forward that's tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Hello, I’m Dr. Dionne Smith, PhD, LICDC-S. I am the owner of ALIVE Therapy & Consulting; working 20 + years as a clinical psychologist and licensed independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-supervisor. I am: genuine, an “optimistic realist”, practical, creative and research and results focused.I have a wicked sense of humor and love to laugh. All of which I incorporate into my sessions with clients. Merriam Webster defines the word Alive as” having life…still in existence…still active in competition with a chance of victory…knowing or realizing the existence of something… marked by alertness, energy… marked by much life, animation, or activity”. This dictionary definition is a good enough description of the word. But does not describe the dynamic process that represents being ALIVE. I define ALIVE as "Authentic Living Inspired by Values and Experience" [TM]. It is a process of: • Accepting reality • Releasing the past • Cultivating resilience • Acting with intention • Nurturing passion, ability and skill. My role is to provide non-judgmental, honest, compassionate support and science-based and results-focused guidance on this journey of discovery and healing. Having benefitted from therapy myself, I understand the importance of finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with and trust. As a PSYPACT Authorized provider, I offer flexible, confidential evening and weekend appointments via teletherapy which is available within more than 30 states, including: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin (more pending!)

I have always been fascinated by how people work. As a child I loved learning about how the body works. As I got older my focus shifted to how minds work and how people function in this world. My education centered around mental health how to help people with their problems. I have an MS in Life Span Development and an Med in Counselor Education, both from Purdue University and am now a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio. I enjoy gardening, traveling and learning new things. I am an optimist. My general way of relating to people is one of listing intently enough to be able to see things from their point of view, and to show respect, warmth, and humor. I believe that establishing a strong, supportive relationship is of utmost importance in therapy. Respect and honesty are essential for effective therapy. Together we can solve problems and improve bad situations.

Steven Johnston CPC LPCC-S has been a clinical counselor for over twenty years, with special training in the areas of Pastoral Counseling , having additonal experience in treating victims of Domestic Violence ; Child Sexual Abuse; Trauma, workplace issues and Marital counseling. A graduate from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1988. Because Mr. Johnston did not want to exclude religious commitment issues from the therapeutic setting, he chose to pursue his Counseling degree from Ashland Seminary after graduating with ministerial degree from the Foursquare Church of the Gospel’s, Life Bible College East. He has continued to extend his Clinical Pastoral Studies through membership and training in the American Association of Christian Counselors. To avoid excluding an aspect of life that has shown to be of central importance to nearly two-thirds of the US population, Mr. Johnston has sought to integrate spiritual issues from a Biblical point of view in a way compatible with Biblical doctrine and Pastoral Counseling. This integration as it applies to marital, family and individual issues has been found to promote inner healing as it supports the client’s own religious coping skills.

Welcome to the House of Transformation Therapy Services LLC! You may ask why House of Transformation? After years of working in the IT world I transitioned into the addictions and mental health field following a calling from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in my middle age. My acceptance of Jesus Christ, began my internal transformation and continuation of being transformed day by day leading to receiving a calling and a purpose to help heal those suffering. This transformation began my personal journey of healing from domestic violence; different types of abuse, drug abuse and much more. I learned in this journey that the Lord uses our suffering for eternal gain. You may find yourself at a similar crossroad suffering with a chemical addiction; domestic violence or abuse; various types of trauma/PTSD; or somewhere on the anxiety, depressive, obsessive compulsive, ADHD, or personality disorder spectrum; interpersonal relationship issues; or challenges with transitioning into adulthood from 18-21’ish ranging from financial, job/career, relationships, moving out to your own place, or learning more of who you are. Maybe you’re a parent struggling with how to raise a child, unsure if parenting skills or other areas are effective or experiencing a child with behavioral/emotional problems. You’ve come to the right place! It all starts within us, the desire to be transformed within… to be happier, more whole, more fulfilled so you experience less suffering and thrive more instead of just surviving day by day. The key to healing is change within and I will be with you to guide, help, encourage and support you on this journey at your personal pace using over 13 years of clinical experience. Together, we set goals in our conversations and use these to develop an action plan to aid in healing, growing and thriving. Self-pay prices: -Intake and Established sessions @ $70 for 60 min session -Scheduled follow-up session @ $60 for 60 min session

Are you struggling with maintaining your sanity as a wife, mother and caretaker? Or are you just someone who needs clarity on what your needs really are? While sometimes it is difficult to understand your own needs, therapy is a way to maintain your self care, learn how to gain better understanding and communicate your needs and feelings, to help you address barriers to healthy relationships and accomplishing personal goals. As a therapist I have 14 years of experience in helping adults and adolescents identify their own needs and collaborate to help them recognize how to improve upon those barriers. My primary interest is in helping individuals gain insight into their self worth in order to better manage life and mental health barriers. In therapy with me clients learn how to adjust negative thinking, improve self care, adjust self esteem and adjust your ability to believe in yourself. Sure therapy can be scary and even stigmatized but with the right collaboration it can be a godsend. Let me help you on your journey, let me help you adjust your crown.
