In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and making sure you feel safe and supported. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and your experiences so far—at your pace. We’ll start mapping out what you want to work on and begin identifying the tools and approaches that will support you best. It’s a collaborative, low-pressure conversation where you can show up exactly as you are—no need to have it all figured out.

I bring a grounded, compassionate presence and a no-fluff approach—clients often say they feel seen, safe, and gently challenged in our work together. I’m skilled at weaving together mind-body techniques with trauma-informed care, helping clients not just talk about change, but actually feel it in their nervous system. My background in somatic work, yoga, and clinical supervision allows me to support clients in a holistic way that’s both deep and practical. I meet people where they are, honor their lived experience, and help them build sustainable tools for real-life healing.

I had my first session with Jess and am excited to continue. She is very easy to talk to, relatable, and extremely knowledgeable. She took what I hoped to start therapy to work on and dissected some parts of it right away instead of leaving me feeling unsure of what could come of this. I even got homework, which would normally make people frustrated but it made me already think of how it can help. Very excited for our next session!
