Hi! My name is Angela (Angi) Olson. I have 20 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker. I have experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds in assessment, crisis management, and brief therapy, and I am now branching out into virtual therapy work. I try to create a safe space for people to be their authentic selves so that we can work together to heal and to grow. I am licensed and based in Michigan, and am also licensed in Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Some of my favorite quotes: • “No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.” — Marsha P. Johnson • “We deserve to experience love fully, equally, without shame and without compromise.” — Elliot Page • “Who you are is beautiful and amazing.” — Laverne Cox • “Hope will never be silent.” — Harvey Milk • “I hope that people feel like themselves when they’re around me and feel safe to be themselves when they’re around me. And maybe that makes people think it’s me that they love, but it’s really themselves that they love.” - Tracee Ellis Ross

Are you struggling with maintaining your sanity as a wife, mother and caretaker? Or are you just someone who needs clarity on what your needs really are? While sometimes it is difficult to understand your own needs, therapy is a way to maintain your self care, learn how to gain better understanding and communicate your needs and feelings, to help you address barriers to healthy relationships and accomplishing personal goals. As a therapist I have 16 years of experience in helping adults and adolescents identify their own needs and collaborate to help them recognize how to improve upon those barriers. My primary interest is in helping individuals gain insight into their self worth in order to better manage life and mental health barriers. In therapy with me clients learn how to adjust negative thinking, improve self care, adjust self esteem and adjust your ability to believe in yourself. Sure therapy can be scary and even stigmatized but with the right collaboration it can be a godsend. Let me help you on your journey, let me help you adjust your crown.

Sometimes life happens so quickly that it seems like there is not enough time to catch a breath. It's a scary feeling to have to figure out the hustle and bustle of life while still hurting inside. Fearful of being misunderstood, judged or like "it" may not work may be the negative thoughts that have developed during such a devastating loss. Think about getting back to doing the things that you once loved. Think about learning to live the best life that you imagined you could. Think about feeling better about yourself. Hi! My name is Billy. Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress, anger...or possibly all five? These issues are not uncommon and can be debilitating, especially when guilt or shame are added to the mix. But you can kick them all to the curb. All it takes is a willingness to change your perspectives. I've worked with thousands of clients (adults and children) who struggle with self-defeating beliefs that zap the joy out of life. And I've found that Hope and Purpose, along with healthy doses of Motivation and Creativity, crush inner demons. How do you find Hope and Purpose? It's not as complicated as you might think. We are made to help each other. We are made to communicate. We are made to have a positive impact. Sometimes, though, life attacks from all directions and leaves us feeling defeated. That's when we need help. I'm here to listen. I'm here to learn about your struggles and find ways to help you view them differently. And, who knows? I may even share some of my Blackstone Griddle secrets along the way. God Bless!

"There can be no transforming of darkness into light ... without emotion." -Jung Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the core of my training. It embraces the belief systems of the past that affect your present. It's a state-of-mind that defines thinking that affects emotional awareness. To become aware is not to change, but to understand and accept. Carrying guilt or shame of the past, triggers the conflict of now. I don't offer advice - I offer choices - a chance to choose your own method of healing that fits you - not something others feel 'should' be. Come. Sit. Talk. Let's wander your path together. Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio, with 9 years of experience. I understand that life has its ups and downs, and that sometimes we need a safe space to process and feel supported. I work with several different concerns, including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, LGBTQ+ issues, career transitions, burnout recovery, and chronic illness. I strive to provide a space for clients to process emotions and to reconnect with things that bring meaning and joy in their lives. I enjoy helping clients learn coping skills to feel more grounded and calm in daily life, and to cope with conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD. Since 2021, I've also developed a specialty in adult ADHD. I understand that ADHD shows up differently for everyone, and that it can make things complicated and challenging. I have the most experience with the following groups: women with ADHD; late-diagnosed ADHD; ADHD for career transitions; and those diagnosed in childhood, but who find themselves needing support because of a life transition. I take a neuro-affirming approach to therapy, helping clients to build on their strengths, while learning coping skills that feel supportive. **Scheduling note: Due to high demand for evenings, I am currently booking for morning and afternoon availability.

I’m a combat Veteran turned Therapist. I believe that the client needs to express the issues and trauma that they have along with being given coping skills and tools to deal with The symptoms associated with them. I believe in being proactive. I don’t want the client to think that I’m just there listening and nodding my head. I want them to know that this is a collaborative process and I’m in it with them to help them become with self and overcome any obstacles in their way.

I provide trauma-informed care to women and men. I want to help clarify whatever it is you want to heal. What is it that you aren't getting from your environment that leads you to overwork, over think, isolate or continue habits you already know don't serve you? To communicate better in your relationships I will use what I’ve learned to help guide you in how to disagree without hurting, highlight what is already working, and uncover the struggles you face to get to the core reasons why we get stuck. I help individuals with ADHD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. The label doesn't matter as much as you do.

My therapeutic focus is based on assisting my clients by finding and maintaining a healthy Mind/Body/Spirit healing and balance.
