My focus is on a variety of life issues that impede the unique potential of the individual. These include substance abuse and dependency, Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma as well as major life events that happen to us all. I works with people from all walks of life including children, couples, and adults. Person centered counseling is not a platform on which one seeks advice or fears being judged, as if “under the microscope”. Rather it is a collaborative conversation based on unconditional positive regard, in which counselor and client journey together towards the client’s realization of meaning and goals.
Our first session is primarily and fact finding session in which a get a basic understanding of your history and the history of what you have been dealing. We will also get to know each other and begin building rapport.
