My name is Tracey Warren and I have over 25 years in the field of helping others and mental health. My yearss of experiencee have allowed me the ability to assist those individuals with maximizing their quality of life by learning skills to assist them with being able to function at their best capacity. As a clinician, I specialize in treating those effected by trauma and complex trauma.
In a first session, it can be expected to spend a lot of time providing information and personal history. From that information, we will discuss symptoms and possible diagnoses. Once that has happened, a discussion of goals and ways to achieve the goals will be had in order to develop a treatment plan. We will also discuss criteria for discharge and what all that looks like. I will allow for the client to ask me whatever questions needed, which will include information about myself and experience treatment mental health concerns.
My experience has allowed me the ability to assist clients with understanding how some thoughts and feelings are distorted and create distress that can look like anxiety and/or depression. I have developed strategies to assist clients with recognizing those thoughts that appear automatic, in order to find the distortion and reframe it to change responses to certain situations. Another important characteristic to have is being unjudgemental. Judging a person for the decisions and behaviors can create other distressful symptoms and a lack of trust. My experience with mindfulness, helps me incorporate meditation into most of my sessions as a means to relieve distress, regardless of the diagnosis.
I currently have a very diverse caseload which includes clients of various ages, family and couple's, as well as sate of life transitions. I ask all of my clients to be open to change as it is inevitable. Together, we can address those barriers that keep you stuck in a place that is no longer fulfilling and causes distress.

Tracey was very open and warm during our first meeting. She took time to learn more about me and allowed me time to express my thoughts and feelings. I am eager to work more with her to help me navigate through my trauma and grief.
