Hi, I'm a licensed independent social worker (LISW-S) serving individuals in Ohio. I received my Master's from Case Western Reserve University and my bachelor's from the University of Findlay. I've been in practice for 13 years. I help individuals that struggle with addiction, depression, gender identity, autism spectrum disorder and those with anxiety. I've worked with individuals from late teens to the golden years. Let me aid you in achieving your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, let's get to know each other a bit. We'll explore what you find important to work on and then we'll create a treatment plan to achieve it.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've worked in this field for over a decade. I'm plain spoken because your time is valuable as well. I want to see you succeed.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Changing is difficult but achievable. Utilizing ACT is a brief form of therapy to gain your goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Thoughts and emotions lead to certain behaviors. If you want to change a behavior we'll work on your thoughts and emotions concerning behaviors you want to handle differently.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a complex modality. It offers many options to address emotions and how you react to them. Utilizing this therapy will explore how you react to situations and allow you to manage your emotions and interactions.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is my strongest therapy modality. This allows me to better understand your decisions to change a desired behavior. I have used this modality for over a decade.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is very valuable in therapy. Giving you information as it pertains to your personal needs is vital.
