My goal is to help others help themselves to become the person they want to be. I’m very open-minded, non-judgmental, and caring. I specialize in DBT, CBT, and trauma-focused evidenced based practices. I want to create a safe space for our work together. Humor is also a part of healing as well. Some people think humor can't be in therapy, and I disagree.
Our first session will be us getting to know each other and learning together, what you are wanting and how you would like to achieve your goals. It's important to develop a working relationship in order to make even just small progress.
I believe one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to make clients feel welcomed and open to being themselves. I believe that if I can’t be myself in the sessions, how can I expect my clients to do the same?
I work with anyone who is ready to start therapy. We all have to start somewhere and need that support to do so. I want people to know that therapy is a safe place. Sometimes we make mistakes and that’s okay, so we focus on learning from them!

Sam has been my therapist the last two years. I have made so much progress and growth with her help, she literally is the best! She is a great listener, empathetic and adapt with helping deal/solve problems. Highly recommend!
