My goal is help others help themselves to become the person they want to be. I’m very open-minded, non-judgmental, and caring. I specialize in DBT, CBT, and trauma-focused evidenced based practices. I enjoy working with all ages. I’m an active supporter of the LGBTQIA community. I focus on many issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, etc. I try to remind everyone to be gentle to themselves during the therapeutic process and small things are just as important as big things!
Our first sessions is really focusing on what’s bringing you in for therapy, your goals, dreams, and us getting to know one another to create a therapeutic relationship and healthy dynamic.
I believe one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to make clients feel welcomed and open to being themselves. I believe that if I can’t be myself in the sessions, how can I expect my clients to do the same?
I work with anyone who is ready to start therapy. We all have to start somewhere and need that support to do so. I want people to know that therapy is a safe place. Sometimes we make mistakes and that’s okay, so we focus on learning from them!
Focusing on solutions that can be easily obtained in a short period of time.
Focusing on how emotions, feelings, and behaviors intertwine with one another in our lives.
Moving between many other treatment methods as needed for the client.
