(she/her)
Welcome - I'm glad you're here! I've been a clincial social worker licensed in the state of Ohio since 2007. I have a background in outpatient community mental health, crisis intervention and homeless outreach. Last year I made the transition to therapy and have never looked back! I have professional training in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR). I specilaize in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions such as breakups and divorce. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based techniques. I help clients understand how their relationships and past experiences shape their current emotional patterns, and I support them in building new skills to manage distress and improve their well-being.
After brief introductions, let's talk about what's most distressing to you and identify what you'd like to achieve by coming to therapy. My hope is that you come away with a sense of empowerment to bring more balance to your well-being.
I show up with humility, curiosity and care - not assumptions or judgment. I care about listening to build trust and a sense of safety. Clients often tell me they appreicate a therapist who really listens and helps them untangle emotional and relational patterns without judgment.
Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or misunderstood in your relationships? I help adults navigate the stress, grief and emotional pain that often show up in our connections with others. With my training in Interpersonal Therapy, I support clients in identifying and reshaping the relationship patterns that may be contributing to depression, anxiety, and low-self worth. Together, we'll work to strengthen communication, build emotional resilence and help you feel more secure and understood in your most important relationships.
Formally trained in Interpersonal Therapy for Depression. This therapy approach explores role change within relationships, connection between our relationships and how we interact with those interpersonal relationships.
