About me

Change is hard, but when it’s needed, you feel it. Marital strain, career dissatisfaction, or lingering pain from the past can leave you feeling stuck, even when you know something has to shift. Taking those first steps toward change can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to gain clarity, process emotions, and reconnect with your sense of purpose. Healing becomes possible when you have an empathetic and attuned witness to your story; someone who helps you uncover insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and find new ways forward. I’ve worked in a variety of settings as a counselor, educator, and clinical supervisor, and I’m passionate about helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, emotioanlly-focused, practical, and rooted in respect for each person’s unique journey. If you’re ready to do the inner work; to feel more grounded, balanced, connected, and fulfilled- therapy can help you get there. Prioritize yourself. This is your moment for growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

A first session with me is a gentle beginning. I like to hold a space for clients to slow down, breathe, and begin to make sense of what brought you here. I know it can take courage to reach out for therapy, so we move at a pace that feels safe and grounded. I’ll invite you to share what’s been weighing on you or what you hope to understand or change. Together, we’ll start exploring the themes in your story, your relationships, emotions, and the patterns that may repeat themselves in your life; with curiosity rather than judgment. My role is both supportive and reflective. I listen deeply, attune to what’s said and unsaid, and help you begin to see connections between your present struggles and your past experiences or attachment needs. You can expect warmth, affirmation, and the safety to show up as you are. Over time, as trust builds, I may gently challenge you to look at things in new ways; always with care and respect for your readiness. The goal of our first session isn’t to fix everything, but to begin a collaborative process of understanding and healing that unfolds in your own time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to truly see people; to sense their emotions, patterns, and unspoken experiences with deep empathy and attunement. Grounded in an emotionally focused, attachment-based, and psychodynamic approach, I’m not here to simply problem-solve or offer surface solutions. Instead, I help you explore the underlying emotions, needs, and relational patterns that shape how you experience yourself and others. Clients often describe me as intuitive, compassionate, and deeply present; I listen not only to what is said, but to what’s beneath the surface. Through this process, I’ve assisted clients in making significant life changes, adjusting to situations they could not have foreseen, and clarifying and achieving their personal and relational goals. My work focuses on helping you uncover your own insight and inner wisdom, fostering meaningful, lasting change and a more grounded, compassionate relationship with yourself and those around you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you’re someone who longs to understand yourself more deeply, to feel safer in your emotions and relationships, and to move through life with greater authenticity, you’re in the right place. My approach is emotionally focused and rooted in attachment and psychodynamic principles, meaning we’ll look beneath the surface, gently and with compassion; to uncover the patterns that shape how you connect, protect, and express yourself. I offer an affirming, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we’ll explore your experiences with curiosity and care, using gentle, honest reflection to increase self-awareness, heal emotional wounds, and support your growth toward a more connected and grounded sense of self.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

In my work with clients, I use an attachment-based framework to help them understand how early relational experiences influence their current patterns of connection, emotion regulation, and self-perception. Sessions often begin with establishing a strong, safe therapeutic alliance; one that models a secure attachment relationship. I aim to create a consistent, attuned, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore vulnerabilities, unmet needs, and relational fears. Throughout therapy, I help clients identify their attachment style and how it manifests in relationships, communication, and emotional responses. We explore past attachment disruptions or traumas and link these experiences to current challenges, such as anxiety, avoidance, trust issues, or emotional dysregulation. Interventions may include guided reflection on relational experiences, emotion-focused work, mindfulness-based grounding, and corrective emotional experiences within the therapeutic relationship itself. For children and families, I may incorporate parent/child interaction work to strengthen responsiveness, co-regulation, and secure bonding patterns. The ultimate goal is to foster greater emotional security, self-compassion, and the ability to form and maintain healthy, reciprocal relationships.
