First session

I try to work myself out of my job to help you be able to manage your life issues being empowered, then just checking in from time to time to let me know you are okay. Strengths
I have overcome many challenges in my life. I believe God has helped and healed me through those things and I am not a wounded healer, but someone who knows how to heal. Ideal clients
My dream client would be that individual that is truly terrified to ask for help, but has the determination to do it anyway. It would be that client that even though they may have been violated or experienced such severe trauma that it is hard to express it, but they love themselves enough to ask for help. Thank you for trying to trust someone again and that person being me if you choose to have me as your counselor. There is no shame for any of the choices we make based on the experience we have had from childhood to now.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Thinking errors change mood and the decision making process. It is important to stop automatic thinking based on experience and utilize changing thoughts to decrease symptoms.
Christian Counseling
A lot of individuals have questions on this subject and how it impacts their life choices and belief systems. This part of an individuals life may impact relationships, job choices, life choices, etc.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)
Again, Thinking Errors and perception effects the impact of circumstances on our life. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Couples Counseling
Couples need to be able to understand family and relationship dynamics in order to be successful in their lives together.
Group Therapy
Group therapy assists in holding each other accountable and provides a physical platform for others to gain strategies and coping skills from the other group members.
