LPCC, 6 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a clinical mental health counselor with six years of experience as a trauma specialist, I am dedicated to supporting clients in resolving the lingering effects of past traumatic events. Trauma often manifests as persistent anxiety and disruption across key areas of functioning. My therapeutic approach is designed to help clients process these experiences and restore a sense of stability, empowerment, and well-being.
The initial session is dedicated to building rapport and collaboratively establishing a treatment plan aligned with your goals. A structured approach is central to this process, ensuring targeted interventions and promoting timely symptom relief.
I bring a strong passion for the field of psychotherapy and a genuine appreciation for the clients I serve. My clinical curiosity drives an ongoing commitment to professional development, as I actively pursue continuing education to expand and refine my therapeutic skills. When I am not working, I have had the privilege of contributing to mental health articles for major publications, including Forbes, GQ, Newsweek, Upworthy, and Medical News Today.
Are you struggling to live with painful memories that cause flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, or life-limiting patterns of avoidance? Do feelings of guilt and shame hold you back after experiencing helplessness or terror? I am here to help. Utilizing Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) for rapid results in a short-term structured form of therapy, we will work to resolve your distressing symptoms so that you can begin to thrive again in your everyday life.
I am EMDR-certified and have been using this approach for the past six years to support clients in healing from trauma. I’ve seen how EMDR can help people find relief from painful memories, ease intrusive thoughts, and feel more at home in their own skin. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can experience that same sense of freedom and healing.
I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques with all of my clients to help them manage both current and future challenges. ACT skills are practical, flexible, and can be applied to many areas of life, often leading to a deeper sense of balance, resilience, and overall quality of life.
