IMFT, 10 years of experience
Hi, I'm Tiffani. I want to warmly welcome you and commend you for taking the courageous step to making yourself a priority. Life's challenges are unique to each of us, and it's not uncommon to feel overwhelmed at times. My aim is to offer a supportive and safe space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to help you overcome obstacles and work towards feeling your best.
After our first session, I hope you leave feeling heard, supported, and just a little lighter — like someone finally ‘gets it.’ My goal is for you to walk away with a sense of safety and trust, knowing this is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. Even if we’re just getting started, I want you to feel a spark of hope that change is possible — and that you don’t have to do it alone.
My greatest strengths are creating space where people feel safe, truly heard, and accepted. I take the time to understand your story and what matters most to you. I'm thoughtful and collaborative in my approach-offering support, practical tools, and fresh perspectives to help you navigate challenges and move toward the kind of life you deserve. My goal is to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and encouragement every step of the way.
I focus on working with adults to address a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, and motivation. In our sessions, we’ll explore how your thoughts influence your feelings and actions, with the goal of helping you understand and manage these dynamics. My role is to challenge and guide you, equipping you with practical tools and solutions to cope with stressors and build a healthier relationship with yourself and others. I have over 10 years of professional experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. In the past, I worked in public schools, psychiatric hospitals, foster care, private practice, and outpatient programs. I earned my Master's degree from National University and am currently licensed in Ohio. Currently, I am only providing care to individuals 18 years and older.
I offer culturally sensitive therapy that honors your identity, values, and lived experiences. In our sessions, your story is never minimized or overlooked—your culture, family, and history are acknowledged as meaningful parts of who you are. Together, we create a space where you can feel seen, respected, and empowered to heal in a way that aligns with your authentic self.
I practice trauma-informed care by creating a space where your nervous system can relax and your story can unfold at your pace. I honor the impact of your past experiences. Together, we focus on safety, trust, and empowerment—helping you reconnect with your body, strengthen emotional resilience, and gently move toward healing with compassion and choice.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. In session, I guide clients through identifying unhelpful patterns, then we gently reframe them into more grounded, realistic, and supportive ways of thinking. My CBT approach is collaborative and paced to your comfort—rooted in curiosity, compassion, and real-life application. We practice skills you can use in daily life, from managing anxiety to interrupting negative self-talk, so you gain tools that foster confidence, clarity, and long-term emotional wellbeing.
I integrate somatic-based practices to help you reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom and safety. Together, we gently explore how emotions show up physically—tightness in the chest, heaviness in the stomach, restlessness in the shoulders—and learn to work with those sensations instead of fighting them. Through grounding, breathwork, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation techniques, you begin to understand your body’s signals with compassion. My approach is slow, collaborative, and always centered on consent, helping you build trust in your body and create pathways to calm, resilience, and embodied healing.
