I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and DBT-informed strategies to help clients understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have many years of experience in working with people from many different cultural backgrounds and I am very aware of the importance of how our cultures influence our mental health. I love working with individuals and families and have had many success in doing so. I love helping people to have the confidence to be authentically themselves.
You may look like you have things together on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning, responsible, and used to being the one others rely on, yet privately feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to slow down and take care of themselves.
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Often, they are managing demanding careers, family responsibilities, or relationship stress while quietly feeling like it is never enough or wondering why things still feel so heavy.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), specializing in helping clients understand and shift long-standing emotional and relational patterns that keep them feeling stuck.
Clients often describe me as easy to talk to and appreciate that they can be fully honest in a way they may not feel comfortable doing elsewhere. I provide a space where you do not have to filter yourself.
I also bring a broad perspective shaped by living in different parts of the U.S. and traveling extensively internationally, which has deepened my ability to connect with people from many backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.
In addition, my experience in Corporate America leadership roles gives me a strong understanding of workplace pressure, burnout, performance expectations, and the emotional toll of high-responsibility environments.
Welcome, I am glad you're here. Reaching out for help can be scary and I applaud you taking this first step.
My approach with therapy is to provide a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to work through what has been weighing on you. I see therapy as a collaborative effort to find what works for you to feel stronger, more balanced and ultimately, more connected to what matters most to you in a world that often seems "un-connected".

While there may be times that you feel like you are not making progress, you will find that you are making more progress than you realize. We sometimes have more difficulty seeing the progress and positive qualities than we do in others. Hi everyone, I'm Greg
I understand that emotions can be confusing, relationships can be messy, and past experiences can negatively impact our present lives, however, I believe that with proper coping strategies, we don’t have to remain stuck in dysfunctional patterns. I realize change can be scary and people often remain frozen in place due to the fear of the unknown. While change and acceptance are two concepts that are diametrically opposed, with the right mindset, they can work hand-in-hand to promote growth and healing.
I have been helping clients improve their lives for over two decades. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, obtaining my Masters of Social Work through Indiana University and my Doctorate of Social Work through Capella University. My doctoral capstone project researched the use of Integrated Treatment to effectively treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders using a holistic approach to treat these disorders simultaneously, as oftentimes, the root causes of addiction are comingled with other underlying mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or grief. I believe that treating both conditions simultaneously brings about the best chance of success for lasting healing and recovery.
Before obtaining my doctoral degree, I spent two decades working at a community mental health center through its emergency services department. This experience provided the opportunity to work with diverse clients struggling with all manner of concerns. Additionally, I spent the past six years working part-time at an addiction recovery center treating clients individually, in groups, and with their family systems to help combat the disease of addiction. As a result of these opportunities, I am experienced in all manners of mental health, as well as addiction counseling, family counseling, and grief counseling.
Hello there, I’m Libby (Elizabeth) Forbes, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Indiana, and I believe deeply that every person deserves care, dignity, and the opportunity to heal. You are SO BRAVE!!! Thank you for searching and trying!! It is an absolute privilege you have stumbled onto my page! I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and the belief that people are not defined by their struggles, but by their capacity to grow beyond them. My work is grounded in meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, strength, and self-understanding. Having experienced my own seasons of profound loss and rebuilding, I hold a genuine respect for the courage it takes to reach out for support, and I consider it a privilege to be part of each client’s journey toward hope, healing, and renewed purpose.
You can call me Dan. From a young age I was interested in a career that focused on helping people. I smile when I think about it, but there was a time I thought a career in medicine was what I wanted but I am so bad at math that didn't work out very well. There was a time I thought I was being called into ministry as a pastor, and I wanted to be a pastor that could counsel, but circumstances didn't allow that to happen either. Maybe it's ironic and maybe it's not but I'm not really that much of a talker so I never dreamed that becoming a therapist would be my thing. But then again, therapy is a lot about listening and I do that really well. I enjoy helping others move from places of frustration, and sometimes despair to places of hope and healing. I have always been taught that people deserve respect and to be treated with dignity regardless of what their issue is or where they come from and that is a value I continue to hold. I also find it interesting that the three careers I pursued had their focus in the three things I still believe are important for a life of fulfillment, purpose, and contentment and those are physical health, spiritual health and mental health.
I received a Masters of Divinity degree in 1991, a Masters in Social Work degree in 1996 and my License as a Clinical Social Worker in 1997. I went back to school in 2016 and obtained a MBA in Healthcare Management in 2017. My 30 year career in mental health has been split between providing clinical services, supervising others in their provision of clinical services and administration in the area of Healthcare Quality and Compliance.

Families today are under a great deal of pressure, and many parents and children feel overwhelmed as a result. When stress builds over time, relationships can suffer—especially within families. I believe understanding these patterns is one of the most important steps toward meaningful change.
I bring over 38 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I offer a supportive, strength-based space where people can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I work with ADHD, anxiety, depression, school-related concerns, divorce, and family relationship challenges. My approach is thoughtful and direct while remaining respectful and collaborative. Together, we’ll work through the heavy stuff. We’ll get into the mess, sort it out, and figure out how you can finally breathe a little easier. Hi, I’m Dr. Walters, a licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Ready to make some changes? Let’s work together to help you manage mental health challenges and recover from substance use disorders.
For the past 26 years, I’ve supported people—likely much like you—in building the skills needed to get sober, stay in recovery, and address co-occurring mental health issues. I’ve worked with adults from all walks of life, including diverse ages, races, cultures, spiritual and religious backgrounds, and many in the LGBTQ+ community, to lay the groundwork for managing mental health and breaking free from drugs and alcohol.
Worried that depression or anxiety might be fueling your substance use? You’re not alone—it’s common. We can explore that together and find strategies to help you manage symptoms and heal.
If substance use isn’t your concern but you need help with anxiety, depression, or trauma, I can guide you toward a healthier, more balanced life.
I look forward to meeting you.

As a perinatal psychotherapist, Mrs. Whiteside works with mothers and/or families who are struggling with perinatal mental illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Mrs. Whiteside is currently a social work doctoral student at The University of Louisville researching the impact of perinatal mood disorders, as evidence indicates that depression and other mood disorders in parents can have a harmful impact on children, including cognitive difficulties, insecure attachment, and behavioral problems.

We all go through some things from time to time and should be able allowed to talk with someone who is willing to listen and provide us with the support that we need.
Hello, I’m Dr. Leslie Capehart, an LMHC with over 25 years of experience across clinical settings, private practice, and academia.
At some point, most people find themselves feeling stuck—whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or just a sense that something isn’t working but you can’t quite put your finger on it. It can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and at times like you’re repeating the same patterns without understanding why. That’s where I come in.
My approach is straightforward, collaborative, and focused on helping you actually move forward. I’ll support you, but I’ll also challenge you to look more closely at the patterns, assumptions, and blind spots that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll identify what’s no longer working, shift the thinking patterns behind it, and build practical tools you can use in your day-to-day life.
I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem, with a focus on helping you gain clarity, make meaningful changes, and stop repeating what isn’t working.
***Please note that I don't specialize in working with addiction issues, and if that is something you are actively struggling with, I encourage you to look for a provider who specializes in working in addictions. It's important you find the best person for you.

The most common struggles of the people I work with include difficulty managing emotions, problems with self-image, concerns about relationships, struggles with decision making, gray-area substance use, and anger outbursts. The other mindfulness practices can help with managing anxiety, impulsivity, and intrusive thoughts. As your recovery evolves in stages, your treatment will too. We, as people, aren’t one-dimensional. Your treatment won’t be either.
Are you ready to make a change?
I'm Cheri Counterman, LCSW. I've been working as a therapist and medical social worker for over a decade. I've worked with clients who have had a wide range of concerns like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, trauma, and many more. For therapeutic modalities, I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) but also utilize other forms of therapy like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Person-Centered Therapy. I am passionate about learning new therapeutic skills and attend yearly trainings to stay on top of new evidence-based therapies to help my clients.
I know that asking for help can be one of the most vulnerable things we do as humans. That's why it's so important to me to make sure your time with me is as comfortable as possible. My goal is to create an open, safe space where you can feel supported in whatever you need from me.
I believe that all people are valuable and deserve love and support no matter what they've been through. Everyone has their own unique story and journey through life; my job is not only to listen but also to help guide you toward healing your mind, body and spirit so that you can live the life you're meant to live!
I became a therapist because I believe people are worth fighting for — including the parts of themselves they've written off, hidden away, or learned to manage instead of heal. That conviction drives everything I do.
I work with women, teen girls, and couples, and I've spent over seven years walking alongside people in some of the hardest seasons of their lives. What I've learned is that the struggles that bring people to therapy rarely start where they think they do. So we go deeper — not to dredge up the past for its own sake, but because real, lasting change usually requires understanding what's actually driving things.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) as the foundation of my work. In plain terms, that means I'm not here to fix you or diagnose what's wrong with you. I'm here to help you understand yourself — all of yourself, including the parts that feel difficult or contradictory — with a lot more compassion and a lot less judgment.
My faith is part of who I am, and it shapes how I see every person I work with: as someone with real worth, real capacity for change, and a story that isn't over. How much that shows up in our sessions is entirely up to you. Some clients want faith woven throughout. Others just want to know their whole self is welcome. Either way, you're in the right place.
I'm currently offering telehealth sessions in Indiana and Michigan.

years and I would like to help with these transitions.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe each individual is the expert of their own life, with a unique story, identity, and set of experiences. I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other; to meet the distinct needs of every individual, couple, and family I work with.
My approach is rooted in the belief that healing and growth occur when clients feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where people of all ages—children, young adults, adults, couples, and families; can explore their challenges, develop deeper self-understanding, and strengthen their relationships. I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, and I am committed to offering each person unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and respect as they move toward healing and wholeness.
Hey there!
My name is Lindsay, and I have been a mental health clinician for 10 years, working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018. I am also a certified yoga teacher, and have found meaningful ways to build mindfulness practices and develop the mind-body connection to address several mental health concerns for those who are open to this approach.
My general approach to therapy is to build a comfortable and psychologically safe environment. I think it is most important to build a meaningful relationship with clients, that allows for sharing, growth, and personal empowerment. I have a laid-back approach to therapy and do my best to meet clients where they are with attention to unique needs.
Outside of my clinical work in mental health, I am an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Ball State University. I completed my PhD in 2024 focusing on increasing awareness of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and how we may build better therapeutic interventions for this population. I thoroughly enjoy being able to bridge gaps between mental health research, teaching the next generation of clinicians, and maintaining clinical work myself.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent over 20 years working in community mental health, crisis intervention, and private practice. That experience has given me a deep understanding of what people actually need to feel better — not just textbook answers, but real, practical support that meets you where you are. You'll work with someone who has seen a lot, judges nothing, and genuinely believes in your capacity to heal.

Hi, I’m Ciera, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping people slow down, make sense of their experiences, and reconnect with themselves in more authentic ways. Do you ever feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by stress and self-doubt? You don't have to navigate that alone; therapy can be a space to better understand those experiences and begin moving toward lasting change.
I believe healing happens when you feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore what’s been holding you back. Because every person’s story and needs are different, I tailor therapy to fit each client’s unique experiences and goals. Together, we’ll work toward greater clarity, emotional resilience, and a stronger connection with yourself.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me recharging with a good book, spending time with loved ones, or moving my body through exercise. Just like my clients, I know life can feel like “too much” at times, but it can also be a place of growth, possibility, and meaning. My focus is to walk alongside you as you discover what that looks like for you.
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what you're experiencing and feel genuinely heard.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in community mental health, I've worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I’m Phillip, a therapist dedicated to helping people grow into the version of themselves they’ve been working toward—often while navigating heavy pressure. My background as an educator and counselor has fueled my passion for supporting others as they untangle complex expectations and begin to cultivate a value-fueled, authentic life. I am EMDR certified and specialize in: anxiety, trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence.
