Hi there. I am a LCSW, graduate from University of Louisville, with over 16 years of experience in the therapy field. I really enjoy working in the mental health field. I am a wife and mother of two children. I really enjoy working with clients of all ages, in all facets of their lives in order to improve overall emotional health.
In our first session together, we will do some brief introductions then be able to take a dive into the specific challenges and reasons for seeking care. This will help me to create a great plan for follow up sessions together.
Having worked with clients of all ages, I have developed a great way of understanding needs and working with clients to find the root cause of issues and work together to solve them.
I enjoy working with all ages, children ages 7 and up. I enjoy working with both, couples and families to get the full picture of what the client is going through.
I have used CBT for 10+ years in working with clients. This method is super effective for changing and challenging thoughts and beliefs in order to improve emotions leading to depression and anxiety.
I have been trained in CAMS and have worked with this method in the past with Veterans. This method will take a deep dive into a patient's suicidality.
I have 15 years of experience in working with couples. This method will focus on relationships and solving interpersonal issues and conflicts.
I have worked with children and their families for 15 years. It is so important to take a look at the family as a whole while focusing on conflict resolution, parenting relationships, effective communication and discipline.
