New to Grow
I have been a Therapist for the past 26 years and in this time, I have worked in community mental health, with the military, as a prison therapist, compliance for a local mental health agency and in private practice, so as you can see, I have worked with many people from all walks of life. If you have any questions about my education or experience, please do not hesitate to ask me.
Predominantly, this will be a "get to know you" session where we will spend time talking about what the Pt said on their intake, what they would like to work on and give some background information about themselves and their goals for coming to therapy.
I am good at making Clients feel comfortable and I am easy to talk to. I listen to what the Client says and will ask for clarity as needed.
I am best able to serve those persons who are desiring to change their current situation and have the courage to come to therapy to address whatever that may entail. This person is willing to take responsibility for their own actions and realize that they cannot control what others think, feel or do. Movement is important, as the Pt needs to feel they are seeing results and if something stifles progress, we will address any setbacks at that time.
