Who am I? I’m a curious person, especially when it comes to the human experience and mental health. I bring that curiosity into every session along with occasional humor and a genuine commitment to helping you get to where you want to be. Even if you're not sure where that is yet, I'm happy to walk alongside you until you figure it out, or until we find someone else who’s the right guide. I’m here for the ride, the ups, the downs, the mess, and the cleanup that is so often part of mental health work. If you’re ready to explore change, let’s see if we’re a good fit.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session with any therapist can feel anxiety-inducing or even dreadful take your pick. With me, we’ll start by gathering information about you, your life, and the challenges that have shaped you, including the roots of anxiety, depression, or reactive patterns. From there, I’ll offer ways I can support you, grounded in my clinical skills and your goals for our work together. As we move beyond that first session, I’ll begin to introduce strategies, new perspectives, and thoughtful challenges to help you move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life experience.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths are curiosity, humor, and authenticity qualities I believe should be the default in our field, though that’s not always the case. These traits allow me to be dynamic and flexible, willing to gently push when others might not, in order to explore what others may miss or avoid.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients I’ve worked with come to me at all stages of change, whether life has gently nudged them or pushed them hard. In every case, I support them in finding their path and walking it as fully as they can. If you’re ready to challenge yourself, grow, and thrive, we may be a great match.

My treatment methods

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I use Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs that may be keeping them stuck or dissatisfied with their lives. Through this approach, I support individuals in developing greater self-acceptance and in creating a more fulfilling life aligned with their personal values and ideals.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I primarily use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to support individuals who have experienced a wide range of trauma, including childhood, sexual, physical, emotional, societal, or racial trauma. One of the reasons I value this approach is that it doesn’t require you to talk about the trauma in detail for it to be effective. CPT gently helps you process and move through the emotional impact of trauma by addressing how it has shaped your beliefs about yourself, others, and the world. It’s a structured, evidence-based method that offers a clear path forward, helping you reduce distress, reconnect with your values, and reclaim your life with a greater sense of clarity and strength.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

While CBT, DBT, and REBT offer valuable tools, they can’t fully capture the depth and complexity of who we are as human beings. Emotions are not just symptoms to manage, they are signals, messengers, and guides. Taking the time to process and move through our emotional experiences allows us to better understand ourselves, connect more authentically with others, and navigate the world with greater clarity and intention. Our emotions often hold the wisdom we need. We just have to slow down, listen, and respond in ways that support a more aligned and fulfilling life.
