I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 5 years of experience as a School Social Worker. I graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2021 with my master's degree. I am a therapist who believes people are stronger than they give themselves credit for. My passion is helping you find your strength and strategies to meet your goals. I keep things warm, supportive, and will never make you feel judged for what you bring to me. I am here to support you and help you navigate to where you want to be. Outside of work, I run a small farm with pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and a garden, so my life involves a fair amount of dirt and a lot of animals with strong opinions. I also love to fish, do woodwork, cook from scratch, and make soy candles. Being in nature is how I reset, and I am happy to talk about what helps you reset too.

Hello, I’m Dr. Leslie Capehart, an LMHC with over 25 years of experience across clinical settings, private practice, and academia. At some point, most people find themselves feeling stuck—whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or just a sense that something isn’t working but you can’t quite put your finger on it. It can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and at times like you’re repeating the same patterns without understanding why. That’s where I come in. My approach is straightforward, collaborative, and focused on helping you actually move forward. I’ll support you, but I’ll also challenge you to look more closely at the patterns, assumptions, and blind spots that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll identify what’s no longer working, shift the thinking patterns behind it, and build practical tools you can use in your day-to-day life. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem, with a focus on helping you gain clarity, make meaningful changes, and stop repeating what isn’t working. ***Please note that I don't specialize in working with addiction issues, and if that is something you are actively struggling with, I encourage you to look for a provider who specializes in working in addictions. It's important you find the best person for you.

You may be the person everyone depends on, yet still find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. Maybe you’re navigating a difficult relationship, grieving a loss, struggling with self-esteem, or carrying emotional burdens that have built up over time. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and also a School Social Worker. I believe healing happens when we take the time to understand the experiences, relationships, and life events that have shaped us. Often, the challenges that bring people to therapy are connected to deeper layers of their story that deserve attention, compassion, and understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore what’s weighing on you, gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop tools to support meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life with confidence and clarity.

I work with high-performing professionals who are exhausted from carrying too much responsibility for too long. Many of my clients are leaders, healthcare providers, executives, and driven individuals who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally depleted behind the scenes. Before becoming a full-time therapist, I served in senior healthcare leadership roles, including Regional Vice President. I understand the pressure of performance plans, regulatory scrutiny, organizational instability, and the silent weight of being the person everyone else depends on. In therapy, we focus on restoring clarity, rebuilding emotional resilience, and addressing the root causes of anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress. My approach integrates evidence-based cognitive and trauma-informed interventions with practical, real-world strategies that support both professional and personal stability. If you are a high-achieving individual who feels stuck, overextended, or quietly unraveling under pressure, you are not weak. You are overloaded. Together, we will recalibrate your nervous system, strengthen your internal narrative, and restore sustainable performance without sacrificing your well-being.

Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed Welcome, I’m Nubia. Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are. Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life. If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you. Let’s take the first step, together. Families today are under a great deal of pressure, and many parents and children feel overwhelmed as a result. When stress builds over time, relationships can suffer—especially within families. I believe understanding these patterns is one of the most important steps toward meaningful change. I bring over 38 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I offer a supportive, strength-based space where people can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I work with ADHD, anxiety, depression, school-related concerns, divorce, and family relationship challenges. My approach is thoughtful and direct while remaining respectful and collaborative. Anxious? Worried all the time? Having panic attacks? Well, you're not alone and I can help! In recent years, anxiety has become one of the most common mental health concerns out there and it can leave you distracted, breathless, overwhelmed and feeling out of control. Symptoms of general anxiety, panic disorders, health anxiety, OCD and PTSD can be difficult to navigate, especially when you feel alone and don't know where to start. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor, and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. I have been in the counseling field for almost 30 years. I've worked in private practice throughout that time but have also worked in the criminal justice and community mental health settings, helping people with anxiety, depression, and addictions. I work primarily with adults using cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I like helping people learn the neuroscience behind anxiety and build skills to manage it better. I love seeing people take back some of the power they feel they've lost to anxiety or helping them see the light at the end of the tunnel in depression or addiction. Taking the first step is one of the hardest, but things can feel better for you.

Sometimes what we need most is a place where we can finally feel genuinely heard. I believe therapy is about more than only managing symptoms. It’s also about understanding yourself and making sense of the experiences and patterns that shape how you think, feel, and respond to the world around you. I aim to create a warm, collaborative environment where you feel safe talking openly and feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll slow down and make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. We’ll work on recognizing patterns, considering new perspectives, and developing a better understanding of yourself without becoming defined by what you’re going through. From there, we’ll work toward meaningful change that feels authentic to you.

Biography: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I facilitate the spiritual, mental and emotional healing process through talk therapy. The focus of most of my adult life has been to be a skilled helper to people in need. As I moved through my theological training, I realized that, often, others needed deeper support than "church" alone could give. I pursued further education to become a clinical counselor to meet those needs. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including, outpatient community mental health, inpatient/outpatient substance abuse/addiction, sex offender therapy in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, mental health professional in the Florida Department of Corrections, inpatient and day treatment of chronically mentally ill, and private practice. I believe my gift, in the counseling relationship, is that I help others see things for themselves. I also have a Christian world view which informs my interaction with others. I am a compassionate, non judgmental, "Wounded healer". Yes, I have had to negotiate life's struggles like anyone else. So, it is not just an academic exercise with me. I offer compassionate support while we work through your mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, fear, grief, loss, codependency, and self esteem issues.

I’ve spent over 15 years working with adults with a wide range of neurodivergence and abilities, helping them discover their strengths, build confidence, and move toward goals that matter to them. I’ve also worked as a Career Counselor for the county, guiding people through assessments, career transitions, and educational planning. Along the way, I’ve supported individuals in correctional settings, helping detainees navigate mental health challenges, adjustment issues, and the emotional weight that comes with major life disruption. I also have experience responding to crisis situations, offering support to people during moments of intense emotional distress or behavioral emergencies. My approach to therapy is flexible and personal. I use an Eclectic, Existential style, pulling from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, and Reality Therapy. What that means for you is that we’ll work together in a way that fits you — your personality, your pace, your goals. I aim to create a space that feels safe, open, and genuinely supportive, where you can explore what’s going on in your life and start making meaningful changes. supportive, where you can explore what’s going on in your life and start making meaningful changes. My values guide everything I do: trustworthy support, integrity, fairness, innovation, unconditional positive regard, and creativity. I’m committed to treating every person with respect and complete confidentiality. You’re not a set of symptoms or a checklist — you’re a whole person with a story worth understanding. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, seen, and supported as you move toward the life you want.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My background includes working with justice-involved adults and high-acuity clients, which has taught me the importance of meeting people exactly where they are—with compassion, respect, and a clear plan forward. *At this time, I am accepting new individual therapy clients. My couples therapy caseload is currently full, so I am not accepting new couples therapy clients at this time.* In our work together, I draw from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing. What that means in practice is that we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build skills to manage overwhelming emotions, and strengthen your ability to create healthier relationships with yourself and others. My style is straightforward, supportive, and collaborative. I’ll encourage you to set meaningful goals, while also making space to process the deeper experiences that have shaped your story. I believe therapy works best when it feels both safe and practical—you should leave sessions with tools you can use right away, and also feel seen and understood in the bigger picture of your life. If you’re looking for a therapist who is down-to-earth, honest, and committed to helping you make real changes, I’d be honored to work with you.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.
