Hey, I'm Nicole! As a therapist, I’m passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where people can feel seen, understood, and empowered. My style is both straightforward and compassionate. I believe in being honest and clear while also holding space with warmth and empathy. My work is guided by the belief that healing happens through connection, compassion, and practical tools that foster growth. I draw from approaches such as a Christian worldview, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Brainspotting, tailoring each session to fit your unique needs. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I walk alongside you to help uncover strengths, build coping strategies, and create new possibilities for your story. My goal is to support you in finding both resilience and relief—so you can move toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and authentically yours.
You will come and complete the intake the first session. This is where we will get to explore the presenting issues and help us develop a plan moving forward. This session is about an hour long and often feels much more structured than ongoing sessions.
My greatest strength is being able to conceptualize what is being said to me. This helps me understand the overall issues, the catalyst as to why this thing may be showing up in your functioning now and help you work towards the goals you want to achieve. I also use a wide range of approaches to help those who come to me. This allows me to address a wide range of issues with the appropriate care.
My Ideal clients are ages 6–65 navigating ADHD, trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or executive functioning challenges. Using a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-supportive approach, treatment focuses on honoring each client’s unique strengths, learning style, and nervous system needs. Support includes developing coping skills, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, increasing self-esteem, and creating practical systems for everyday success. Services are tailored for children, teens, adults, and families seeking compassionate, individualized care. Clients often benefit from a supportive space to process past experiences, reduce overwhelm, improve focus and communication, and build healthier patterns that promote resilience, confidence, healing, and long-term personal growth.
Other specialties
I identify as
Christian Counseling
In my work I combine psychological approaches (CBT, DBT skills, trauma-informed care, attachment-focused work, and solution-focused/narrative techniques) with clients’ Christian beliefs when that is important to them.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Over the years, I’ve used CBT both as a stand-alone treatment and integrated with other approaches such as trauma-focused care, attachment-based therapy, and experiential methods like Brainspotting.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I often blend DBT skills into other approaches I use, such as CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and Brainspotting, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs.
Narrative
This method is especially powerful for individuals who feel defined by trauma, mental health challenges, or negative labels, as it creates space to separate their identity from their problems and author new, empowering narratives.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a practical, strengths-based approach to counseling that focuses on where you want to go rather than staying stuck in what’s gone wrong. Together, we identify what’s already working, clarify your goals, and take small, realistic steps toward meaningful change. This approach is empowering, hopeful, and often shorter-term, helping you move forward with confidence and clarity.

I chose Nicole because the information in her profile included that fact that she has done biblical counseling before (more than just "spirituality.") It is one of her treatment strategies IF it is helpful to her patients. That was exactly what I was looking for.

During our appointments, Nicole helps me to feel like my feelings are validated. No family members help me do that. At least with Nicole I feel there is a light at the end of my tunnel. I’m glad she is here to help me.
