About me

I offer telehealth counseling for adults and seniors, including Medicare clients, who are navigating life’s challenges. Many of the people I work with are dealing with grief, caregiver stress, trauma, depression, or anxiety. I understand how heavy these struggles can feel, and my goal is to provide a compassionate, steady place for you to breathe, reflect, and heal. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and supportive therapy, I tailor each session to your needs. Whether you are coping with illness, loss, or overwhelming stress, I will walk with you in building resilience and finding balance. Together, we can create space for healing, growth, and renewed hope, no matter where you are on your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where your story is heard and respected. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and begin identifying the goals that matter most to you. I work with adults and seniors, including Medicare clients, who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, caregiver stress, or challenges related to illness and life transitions. I will explain how telehealth sessions work, answer any questions you have about the process, and introduce evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and supportive therapy. This first meeting is also a chance for you to get comfortable with me, understand my style, and see if we are a good fit. By the end of the first session, most clients feel relief in knowing they are not alone and have taken the first step toward healing, balance, and renewed hope.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist come from combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion. I specialize in providing telehealth therapy for adults and seniors, including Medicare clients, who are coping with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and caregiver stress. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, supportive therapy, and trauma-informed care, while also being flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs. I bring extensive experience working with individuals and families facing illness, loss, and life transitions. This background allows me to support clients not only emotionally, but also in navigating the complex realities that come with caregiving, chronic conditions, and end-of-life concerns. Clients often tell me they value my calm presence, practical strategies, and ability to make difficult conversations feel safe and manageable. I believe my strength lies in helping clients feel truly seen and understood, while also empowering them with tools to build resilience, restore balance, and move forward with hope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults and seniors who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or the challenges that come with illness and caregiving. Many of the people I work with are caring for loved ones, adjusting to life transitions, or managing chronic health conditions that impact both emotional and physical well-being. I am especially well-positioned to support Medicare clients and older adults who may be seeking therapy for the first time, as well as those who have tried therapy before but are looking for a more compassionate, personalized approach. Clients who benefit most from our work together are open to exploring evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, supportive therapy, and trauma-informed care. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain about the future, you do not have to face it alone. My ideal clients share the desire to find relief, build resilience, and reconnect with hope, balance, and meaning in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify patterns of negative thinking and behavior that may be contributing to their anxiety, depression, or stress. Together, we work on developing healthier ways of coping, reframing unhelpful thoughts, and building practical skills that clients can use in their daily lives. CBT provides a structured, evidence-based approach that empowers clients to make meaningful changes.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach therapy with an understanding of how past trauma can affect present thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Sessions are designed to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can process experiences at their own pace. I use trauma-focused strategies to help clients build resilience, reduce distress, and regain a sense of control.

Supportive

In supportive therapy, I provide a compassionate space for clients to share their struggles, receive validation, and feel less alone. This approach is especially helpful for individuals navigating grief, illness, or caregiving stress. By focusing on emotional support and practical coping strategies, clients gain strength and confidence to face challenges.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help clients stay grounded in the present moment, manage stress, and reduce emotional overwhelm. Through guided practices and simple tools, clients learn to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Mindfulness can be especially effective in managing anxiety, depression, and health-related stress.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps clients learn to accept difficult emotions while committing to actions that align with their personal values. I guide clients in developing flexibility, resilience, and self-compassion, which allows them to live more fully even in the presence of stress, grief, or uncertainty. This approach is especially helpful for clients managing chronic stress or health-related concerns.
