LMHC, 26 years of experience
Hello! I’m a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana with over 25 years of experience. I earned my Master's degree from Purdue University. My current focus is on helping adults who are seeking support to manage their mental health symptoms and enhance their overall quality of life. If you’re looking for guidance, I’m here to assist you on your journey. I offer teletherapy appointments with evening and weekend hours available.
In our first session, we will spend a little time getting to know each other and how counseling works. I will gather some information to understand what you feel is weighing you down and what you want to achieve in counseling. Together, we will agree upon a plan for treatment.
I am a genuine, "real" person who is committed to providing an experience where you feel heard, respected and hopeful.
I am dedicated to working with adults on their journey to transform their self-perception and make changes leading to a more fulfilling, content life.

I have been blessed to have picked JoAnn from my very first session with Grow Therapy. She has been very thoughtful in our discussions, she listens well and helps me to see other ways of looking at things. She gives me homework that isn’t necessarily easy but is part of my growing and moving forward. She has helped me understand why I may do certain things and how to trade the negative to positive. She has been great to work with.

Very professional. I did not feel rushed during our session. She lined out the expectation of the session and future sessions from the start and didn’t get off track. She is very pleasant and warm and inviting to speak with.
