I feel like my greatest strengths as a provider are compassion and positivity. I have a passion for helping others overcome challenges and become the best version of themselves. I truly want to help you make progress- which will include a process of identifying the root cause of the challenges and creating an individualized plan that leads to measurable progress.

I love working with people who are eager to improve and motivated to change. Everyone needs extra support at some point in their life, and I am excited to be a source of support for my clients. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy for more than five years. With this treatment modality, clients have improved their ability to challenge reoccurring thoughts and decreased their levels of anxiety and depression. Together we will develop a deeper understanding of how your thoughts, feelings, and behavior influence you in various ways. Then we will determine how to best use that information to lower your mental health symptoms and the stress in your life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectal behavioral therapy has always been an important aspect of my work with clients. The focus of this therapy technique is to develop and improve the following skills: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. In utilizing DBT, I have assisted clients with better understanding their emotions and changing them, managing their emotional distress, as well as establishing and maintaining healthy relationships with themselves and others.

Strength-Based

Strength-based therapy is one of the most essential factors of my practice. I strongly believe that each person has a variety of valuable strengths and abilities, and I focus on empowering clients to discover and expand upon their positive qualities. Together we will focus on resources, resilience, and strength to tackle the challenges in your life.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation will always be an important aspect of my work with clients. I use this treatment method to assist clients in developing a clear understanding of their mental health- from cognition to coping skills. Throughout this process, we will discuss various ways in which you can manage your mental health symptoms and improve your quality of life.
