New to Grow
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Master of Social Work from Indiana University. With over 8 years of experience, I support individuals in managing anxiety, navigating depression, and healing from past trauma. My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a spiritually grounded perspective. While therapy is rooted in clinical skill, I also create space for deeper connection—often integrating spiritual awareness into the work for those who are open to it. I believe healing is not just mental, but also deeply internal and, at times, spiritual.
In your first session with me, the focus is on creating a safe, welcoming space where we can begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe that a positive connection is the foundation of effective therapy, so this time is really about us getting to know each other. You are invited to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We will explore what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and your experiences leading up to this point. I’ll also share a bit about my approach so you know what to expect moving forward. Together, we begin setting the stage for your healing journey at a pace that feels right for you.
As a wife, mother, and spiritually grounded woman, I bring both professional expertise and authenticity into the therapy space. Clients often appreciate my direct and honest approach. I won’t simply sit back and agree—I will challenge you, reflect patterns back to you, and support you in moving beyond what’s keeping you stuck, all while honoring your experiences and your pace. I am committed to creating a space that fosters trust, depth, and real transformation. You are more than a diagnosis—you are a whole person with complexity, purpose, and the capacity for meaningful change. I believe we all have the capacity to create meaningful change in our lives. If you’re seeking growth, open to deeper self-awareness, and willing to be challenged as you evolve, I offer a space where both your healing and your inner alignment can take shape.
My ideal client is someone who is ready for meaningful change and open to engaging honestly in the therapeutic process, even when it feels challenging or uncomfortable at times. They are spiritually aware, curious about their inner world, and motivated to better understand themselves on a deeper level. They are also willing to be gently but directly challenged as they work toward greater clarity, healing, emotional growth, and long-term personal transformation over time.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have over 8 years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. In our work together, I help you explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I also integrate mindfulness and a supportive, person-centered approach to help you build practical tools for real, lasting change in your everyday life.
Trauma Informed Care
I have a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and collaboration in the therapeutic process. I understand that trauma can impact how we see ourselves, others, and the world, so I move at a pace that feels safe and empowering for each client. In our work together, I focus on helping you gently process your experiences while building emotional regulation skills, self-awareness, and a stronger sense of control and stability in your life.
