Hello, I'm Dr. Walters, a licensed Clinical Psychologist. Ready to make some changes? Let's work together to get you on the path to managing mental health concerns, and recovery from substance use disorders. Over the past 26 years I've helped folks - probably much like yourself - develop the skills to get sober and maintain recovery from drugs and alcohol and manage co-occurring mental health concerns. I've had the opportunity to assist adults of all ages, races, cultures, religious/spiritual backgrounds, and many within the LBTQ+ community to create the foundation needed to manage their mental health and finally stop using drugs and alcohol. Are you concerned mental health symptoms such as depression or anxiety contribute to your substance use? It's quite common. We can talk about that as well and discuss strategies to help you manage symptoms and heal. If substance use is not a concern, but you are looking for help with anxiety, depression, or trauma- I can help get you on the path to being balanced and healthy. I look forward to meeting you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will discuss the changes you want to make and start making a plan so you will be successful in reaching those goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a genuine desire to help people become the best versions of themselves. I do that by supporting my clients, but also holding them accountable.
