New to Grow
Hello, I’m Dee! Nice to meet you. I’m an independently licensed therapist in the state of Indiana. I use a client-centered approach to help clients reach their goals and experience relief from their symptoms. I use CBT, mindfulness, and art therapy techniques to help clients map out problem areas, stabilize symptoms, and address the thoughts and emotions that may be contributing to problem behaviors. We will also discuss our circles of control so that we are investing our energy wisely!
The first session involves an intake assessment where I obtain information on why you’re seeking therapy. We will then discuss your symptoms and contributing factors in great detail. We will set goals and discuss my treatment approach and what to expect from next sessions.
I am a client-centered therapist who tailors treatment to the needs of my client. I have experience with many different modalities and pride myself in my ability to use what’s needed for client success.
I have the most experience helping individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Women with self-esteem issues and relational issues have also reported significant improvements after treatment. Clients should come to sessions prepared to build skills in a non judgmental and supportive space. A growth mindset is highly encouraged! We will set goals and break those goals down into smaller objectives.
