Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I firmly believe you are the expert on you. I'll ask questions about your history but I believe it's most important to give clients the space to share why they're here and what is important to them.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My goal as a therapist is to work myself out of a job. I am skilled at meeting clients where they're at and empowering them to move forward with goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I believe all treatment should be tailored to each individual, and am particularly passionate about working with women motivated to address distorted body image, and adjustment to major life changes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The mind is a powerful tool, and learning to use this tool effectively can help us better manage emotions, behavior, and positively impact relationships. I engage clients by guiding them to identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. Using CBT we will complete exercises that help clients reframe thoughts and develop healthier behaviors. This approach is also not a one-size-fits-all. We’ll work together to tailor sessions to meet individual client needs.
