About me

As a mother, wife, and first-generation college graduate, I draw inspiration from my trials, using them as fuel to empower others to create a better tomorrow. Aside from my clinical work, I am also a mental health speaker and advocate. I am passionate about stopping the stigmas related to mental health-- particularly in relation to mental illness. I want to work to normalize experiences working through and overcoming symptoms of mental health disorders. I want to provide support for those looking to work on their own diagnoses, but also help to end cycles of trauma and mental illness that can oftentimes reoccur in families across generations without intervention and treatment.

She is exceptional! From the first session I knew she was someone I would feel comfortable talking to. A few sessions later, I felt different in the best way possible. I’ve had a rough life and she not only empowered me but encouraged me to talk about the difficulties I’ve faced while finding ways to look at the positive and how much life I have left to live. 10/10 professional and I love working with her! Such a great fit for me and couldn’t say enough positive things about her.

She showed a complete involvement in my session which I appreciate, she had the emotional capacity to deal with the heavy emotions I’ve been dealing with, she did not rush me and she was very knowledgeable about the symptoms and experiences I’ve had. She seemed to resonate with all I had to say and showed no judgment I really like her as a person, woman, fellow mother and competent therapist! I made a good call choosing her!
