About me

I’m a therapist who often starts with a simple question: “Where are you in time and space?” I ask because I want to meet you exactly where you are, moment to moment, with curiosity, compassion, and real interest in your story. Together, we pay attention to how you connect (or pull away) from yourself and others, including what shows up between us in the room, so those patterns can shift. I draw from different tools and perspectives to fit who you are, and I value collaboration, honesty, playfulness, and helping you leave sessions feeling a little more grounded, motivated, and whole.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I will invite you to share what brings you in, where you are in time and space, and what you hope might feel different in your life or relationships. We will move at your pace, getting to know your story while I ask gentle questions to better understand your needs. I see this as the beginning of a longer-term relationship, where trust and safety are built over time. We will also check together on whether it feels like the kind of connection you are looking for, so you can feel confident about continuing our work.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a therapist include deep listening, curiosity, and helping you put words to experiences that may feel vague, stuck, or hard to explain. I pay close attention to the details of your story, your relationships, and how you and I relate in the room. Using these details I gently uncover patterns and meanings that matter to you. I am thoughtful about pacing and safety, especially around trauma, and I bring in a mix of tools and perspectives rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I also value playfulness and creativity, and I aim for you to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and more connected to yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a good fit for people who are thoughtful, curious, and ready to look more closely at their inner world, even if they feel unsure where to start. I often work with clients who feel stuck in patterns, weighed down by anxiety, shame, old wounds, or disconnected from themselves or their relationships. I also enjoy working with couples who want to rebuild trust, deepen intimacy, or learn how to move through conflict together. My ideal clients are open to reflection, interested in understanding the “what” underneath their struggles, and willing to try new ways of relating to themselves with more honesty and compassion.

My treatment methods

Existential

Existential therapy is the foundation of my work. It helps us move at a more mindful pace, reconnect with the present, and notice what truly matters to you. Together, we gently explore your story, your relationships, and your daily experiences to understand how you make meaning of your life. This approach supports your search for fulfillment by honoring your feelings, clarifying your values, and making more authentic choices, one step at a time.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy helps us understand how your past experiences and deeper feelings shape what you’re going through now. Together, we notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, including how feelings toward important people in your life may show up between us in session. In a warm, nonjudgmental space, we use these insights to heal old hurts and create gentler, more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.

Integrative

I work from an integrative approach, meaning I carefully blend different therapies into a coherent style that fits you as a whole person. Together, we consider your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and history, and choose what feels most supportive in each season of your life. As our work unfolds, I regularly adjust our approach so it can grow with you, honoring your unique pace, needs, and hopes for change.

Compassion Focused

Compassion Focused Therapy supports you in softening the harsh way you may speak to yourself and building a kinder relationship within. We look at where shame, fear, or self-blame may have taken root and how they show up in your daily life. Together, we practice simple ways of offering yourself care and understanding, so over time you can feel safer inside, less overwhelmed, and more able to meet your struggles with gentleness instead of judgment.
