New to Grow
I work with adults and adolescents who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by anxiety, depression, life changes, or relationship stress. My approach is compassionate, honest, and collaborative—blending practical tools with real connection. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to hold everything together. We move through what you’re carrying at your pace, focusing on building clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self so you can feel more grounded and supported in your everyday life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is about connection, understanding, and setting a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what feels hardest right now, and what you’re hoping for from therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we’ll take it one step at a time. I’ll ask questions, listen, and help you start making sense of what you’re experiencing. We’ll also talk about goals and next steps, so you leave with more clarity and a sense of whether this feels like the right space for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are creating a safe, honest space while also offering practical tools clients can use in real life. I balance compassion with directness, helping clients understand their patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop skills that support lasting change. I’m collaborative in my approach and meet each client where they are, moving at a pace that feels supportive while still encouraging growth. Clients often share that they feel seen, understood, and more grounded as they gain clarity, resilience, and confidence in navigating their lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel like you. You might be carrying anxiety, low mood, relationship stress, or navigating big life changes while trying to hold everything together. I work best with adults and adolescents who are ready to show up honestly and engage in the process — because therapy is work, and meaningful change takes time. I’m not the right fit for everyone, but if you’re open to reflection, real conversation, and growth at your own pace, we may be a good match. Together, we focus on building clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self as you move through what you’re facing.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a foundation while taking an integrative, client-centered approach. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck, then work collaboratively to develop practical tools for change. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s goals and lived experience, combining insight-building with skill development. I focus on helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping strategies, and create sustainable shifts they can apply in daily life. My approach is flexible and trauma-informed, meeting clients where they are while supporting meaningful, long-term growth.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I believe each client is the expert in their own experience, and I work collaboratively to help clients clarify their goals, strengthen self-awareness, and reconnect with their values. This approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and trust while supporting clients in moving forward at their own pace.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach to ensure therapy feels safe, collaborative, and empowering. I recognize how past experiences can shape emotional responses, relationships, and coping patterns, and I work at a pace that respects each client’s nervous system and personal boundaries. My focus is on building stability, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening internal resources while supporting clients in processing challenges in a way that feels manageable and grounded.
