LMFT, 17 years of experience
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist received my masters degree in Psychology at CSULA in 2007. I have been practicing for 17 years. I have specialized experience working with clients dealing with trauma and assisting them to start the healing process. Also, I help adults dealing with work stress, anger problems, anxiety and depression, supporting them to over come these stressors.
At our first session we will introduce ourselves and start the process of identifying difficulties you are dealing with, this will assist us in collaboratively developing treatment goals that we could use in follow up sessions.
In my 17 years of experience I have been able to develop a natural way of connecting with clients that allows them to share specific goals that lead to positive change in their life.
I love working with young adults struggling to identify their path and purpose in life. My clients feel often unable to deal with ongoing stressors and feel overwhelmed. In treatment I encourage them identify realistic goals and support their personal growth.
Utilizing CBT interventions I support my patients with identifying negative thinking patterns and support them with changing negative cognitions to improve mood.
