Hey everyone, my name is Thomas! I am an LCSW with over 5 years experience working with clients. I work with adults and couples navigating self-worth issues and relationship patterns rooted in past or present wounds. My approach is depth-oriented, relational, and focused on real change—not just insight. Clients often come seeking relief, clarity, and a more secure sense of self and connection.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I aim to create a grounded, collaborative space where you feel safe, understood, and supported in doing deeper work at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel more secure in yourself and your relationships.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is three-part. First, I focus on building a strong, trusting connection. Then we develop practical strategies to bring more stability into your daily life and relationships. Finally, I integrate EMDR and Gottman-informed work to process deeper emotional wounds and shift core patterns, allowing lasting change to take root.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with young professionals navigating low self esteem, anxiety, relationship difficulties and painful childhood wounds. I teach clients coping skills in the short term to assist them with finding relief and peace in the present moment. I then transition to help clients develop insight into their past to figure out what negative patterns keep showing up, and then using EMDR to heal from those experiences.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have been in trained in ACT for 5 years. It is an effective intervention to stop wasting energy trying to run away from thoughts and feelings, but rather find emotional freedom from them.

EMDR

I use this intervention to not only gain valuable insight of how harmful childhood experiences continue into adulthood, but to heal from those wounds as well.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been trained in CBT for 5 years and I find it beneficial to analyze thinking patterns so we can prevent our thoughts from negatively impacting our feelings and behaviors.

Gottman method

I am trained in Gottman Couples Method in which I use research-based exercises to teach couples how to communicate effectively and rebuild intimacy
