I’m Michael Woods Jr., a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 15 years of experience. I help people who are dealing with stress, pressure, and feeling stuck—even when things on the outside look like they should be working.
My approach is real and straightforward. I’m not just here to listen—I’m here to help you understand what’s actually going on and give you practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I focus a lot on how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and how to start responding differently instead of reacting on autopilot.
A big part of my work is helping people build awareness, take ownership, and develop the mental skills needed to handle challenges more effectively. I also bring in my background in athletics and performance, so there’s an emphasis on consistency, discipline, and doing the work—not just talking about it.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I have had the privilege to serve in community mental health agencies, hospitals, private practices, and community colleges. I have served a multitude of different populations, in the field for roughly 7 years. I work from a family system and integrate a variety of interventions tailored to the needs of my clients. I am excited to help!

I am the co-owner and co-founder of Lydian Counseling & Consultation, LLC in the heart of the Short North Arts District in downtown Columbus, OH. Individuality is at the heart of how I work. I don’t believe there’s one right way to change your life, and I’m not here to hand you a roadmap and tell you to follow it. You’re the expert on your own life. My job is to ask the right questions, help you sort through what you actually want, and support you in building something that’s sustainable for you, not what worked for someone else, not what looks good on paper.
And I mean that genuinely. You are not your diagnosis, your history, or anyone else’s idea of what change should look like. The things that make you who you are, your background, your values, your circumstances, the way you see the world, those aren’t obstacles to work around. They’re the starting point. Good therapy, in my opinion, should fit your life, not ask you to fit into it.
Change is hard enough without feeling like you’re being managed. Here, you’re in the driver’s seat.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in central Ohio, specializing in mental health and addiction treatment. For the past 10 years. I hold a Bachelor’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. I also completed an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Daly City, CA, an experience that gave me a deep respect for just how individual the path to recovery really is.

I have an eclectic approach and believe that you are your own expert who needs evidence-based tools. I will walk through deep waters with you, promising to provide a judgment-free zone. I have a background in family systems, child development and couples therapy. This background supports individual therapy as many people present to therapy with relational issues. I am so glad you are here!
Most say that I am down to earth and relatable. Building professional rapport is my greatest strength. I am as human as you are and make sure to demonstrate that in session. I often see parts of my own self in others that I work with. I was previously a high school teacher for 14 years before becoming a counselor. And, I’m still a teacher in this role as well. Sessions are geared towards giving you time to express yourself while assigning you “homework” in the form of development of skills to help manage your symptoms. I also throw in some humor and some cordial conversation to help with the development of professional rapport. I specialize in trauma-based therapy and have experience working with individuals who are diagnosed with depression, anxiety, grief, and some personality disorders. I provide a multi-cultural perspective to treatment and adjust treatment related to people’s cultural background. I also provide spiritual direction, which includes traditional forms of faith as well as alternative sources. I understand the courage it takes to come to therapy. It can be nerve racking when coming to your first session. As someone who has been through counseling myself, I respect the courage it takes to take that first step. Whether it’s me or another professional, I hope you are able to get the help you need.

THIS WORK is my life’s passion and it is a honor to be in this profession. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with a degree in Interpersonal Practice and it is my life’s work to help you get to a place you want to be.
I provide a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment to help you overcome your past struggles and present barriers. I will guide you to help yourself to master the tools necessary to effectively navigate through the complexities of life with a new set lenses in order to help you reach your full potential.
Are you the person who looks completely fine on the outside while quietly feeling overwhelmed underneath? Maybe you’re exhausted from overthinking every interaction, replaying conversations in your head at 2 a.m., or wondering why the same painful relationship patterns keep showing up in your life. You may be carrying anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, or years of feeling responsible for everyone else while ignoring your own needs. Maybe you’ve gotten very good at functioning while secretly feeling disconnected, emotionally drained, or stuck.
I work especially well with people who are just tired of pretending they’re “fine.” Many of my clients are caregivers, professionals, military families, people navigating major life changes, or individuals trying to heal from difficult childhood experiences and unhealthy relationships. Others are struggling with body image, self-worth, or the emotional side of bariatric surgery and life transitions. While some are figuring out the complexities of ENM, polyamory, or power dynamic relationships.
My style is warm, conversational, and supportive. Therapy with me is not about sitting in a cold, clinical space feeling judged or analyzed. It’s about having honest conversations in a place where you can finally exhale a little. We’ll work together to better understand your patterns, strengthen your sense of self, and help you move toward healthier relationships, clearer boundaries, and a life that feels more authentic and manageable.
And yes—because I provide teletherapy from home, one of my cats may occasionally wander through the background. I consider that part of the experience! 😺
If you’re ready to stop carrying everything alone and start making meaningful changes, I’d love to help. Reach out when you’re ready, and let’s see if we’re a good fit.

If you've been feeling stuck, anxious, or just not like yourself lately, I want you to know you don't have to navigate that alone. I am a compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive therapist with experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, substance use, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel genuinely heard, valued, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

With over 16 years of experience, I specialize in working with people who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional mental health spaces. My approach is compassionate, straightforward, and tailored to your needs. I combine evidence-based practices with a strong dose of real-world experience.
I believe that healing doesn’t always look the same for everyone — so we’ll work together to find the tools, strategies, and pace that feel right for you. Above all, I’m here to offer a space where you can feel truly seen — not judged.
My experience has involved working with adolescents, adults, couples, and seniors. Throughout my career, I noticed concerns from men about their sexual health and the complexities of being a man in today’s society. This became a specialization for me. In addition to sexual health, I work in partnership with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, impulse control, or substance abuse. I possess extensive experience collaborating with veterans on complicated trauma and mental health concerns
I am a person of compassion and strength. I love to listen to people's stories to learn how their experiences have made them into the person they are today. The story we are living in is bigger than we will ever know, and if you choose to be my client I will be honored to walk with you through this next chapter together.
As a seasoned clinician, I specialize in helping clients find steadiness during times of uncertainty. I bring a mindful, practical, and collaborative style to therapy, helping you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and build the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful change. My goal is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more aligned and intentional.
Both my personal experience of coming out of daily anxiety, and decades of supporting clients who were able to do the same, leads me to be confident in working with new clients who want change in their lives. I have a passion especially for those who have experienced destructive or abusive relationships in their family, intimate relationships or even within a religious organization. Healing, peace and joy are possible.
I’m a business owner, a single mom, and a foster and adoptive parent. I understand what it’s like to juggle multiple roles, carry constant responsibility, and still want to show up well for the people who matter most. One thing I say often is “work on yourself first.” It’s one of the few things we actually have control over, but it’s also the thing we tend to put off. We’re busy, we’re juggling everything, and before we know it, we’re stuck in patterns that feel frustrating and hard to break. No judgment here. I get it.
I’ve been working with individuals and families as a therapist since 2018, with a background in healthcare prior to that, and I’ve spent my career serving the Fort Worth community I grew up in. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, which means we’ll focus on what’s already working, build on your strengths, and create practical steps that actually move things forward.
Hi, I’m Shannon, and I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the start.
I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what’s next in their lives. Many individuals come to me for support with anxiety, depression, and life transitions, whether that’s navigating changes in relationships, career paths, identity, or overall direction. I also support children with challenges related to school, self-esteem, ADHD, and anxiety, helping them build confidence, coping skills, and emotional awareness in a supportive and age-appropriate way.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop tools you can use in your everyday life to manage stress, build confidence, and move forward with intention.
I believe therapy should not only help you feel better, but also give you skills that last beyond our sessions. Whether you’re working through a difficult period or simply looking for more direction and clarity, I’m here to support you in a way that feels approachable, grounded, and tailored to your needs.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to help.
I believe healing begins with intention, presence, and a good dose of courage. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me hiking through the woods with my two rescue dogs or throwing elbows in a Muay Thai gym. Nature, movement, and mindfulness are my anchors, and I bring that same grounded energy into a therapy session.
Inspired by Viktor Frankl, “A man with a why can endure any how,” I aim to help individuals reconnect with their “why” in a world that often pulls us in every direction but inward. Life is messy, fast, and full of distractions. It’s easy to lose sight of who we are and what we need.
As your therapist, I can do nothing to take away your pain; however, I vow to sit with you to endure it. I promise to do my best to assist you forthrightly, uncovering and fostering lasting resilience. I’ll offer a safe, compassionate space where we can work collaboratively to explore your story, uncover your strengths, and chart a course forward.
The hardest part is getting started, so why not give it a shot? Come sit down, talk with me, and see if we can't get somewhere better than where we started.

I'm Cat, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I'm a Millennial Mom of 3 with some scrappy life experiences myself. I've worked extensively with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and complex trauma. My approach is a great fit for teens and women who want to have a place where they can be completely real, to unpack whatever they need to, and feel accepted by someone who truly believes things will get better. Many of my Clients have lived through serious betrayal and felt confused, absent, or unhinged by what happened. Then they come to therapy because they've been living life "at a 10" and want hope that they don't have to be this mad, this triggered, or this impacted anymore. I help Clients understand why this is happening and how to move forward in a way that feels strong and sure.
For clients who desire it, I can integrate Biblical counseling. A space to explore how God's presence, grace, and Truth can support a full life.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I'm a licensed therapist who offers online therapy for adults in Ohio and Colorado.
Many of the people I work with are doing their best — but feel stretched thin, stuck in the same patterns, and unsure of how to calm the noise in their mind and body.
In therapy, we’ll gently take a look at what’s going on beneath your patterns — with your stress response, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the experiences that shaped them. My style is practical and supportive. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT and mindfulness, and I also bring in body-based and energy-psychology tools when they’re helpful — so we’re not only talking about what’s hard, we’re building skills that help you actually feel different over time.
I aim to create a space that feels safe, warm, and grounded — where you can understand yourself with more compassion and feel empowered to move toward the life and relationships you most want.
Please note: I currently offer remote individual therapy sessions for adults only. I do not provide couples therapy through my therapy practice or through Grow. I do, however, work with couples separately through my coaching practice, which is outside of Grow Therapy. You can learn more about that here: https://sarahschweppe.com/couples-coaching
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisor designation (LPCC-S) with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. Before counseling, I was a teacher. I am authentic with my clients and feel that counseling does not need to feel cold or clinical. I am an EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist. My approach to therapy includes meeting the client where they are. I believe the most important part of therapy is feeling comfortable with your therapist since there is a lot of vulnerability in talking about difficult aspects of our lives.

Hello ! Welcome to the exploration of the benefits of therapy. This may be your first time trying out this experience, or you may have worked with other clinicians in the past. People often think of therapy as scary; a luxury; an unnecessary expense and/or use of time; no better than talking to friends and loved ones; to be sought out only if things get really BAD. But in the decades I have been working as a psychotherapist with people just like you - they have found, as I hope you will, that it is a dynamic opportunity to start addressing the needs of the most important resource you have - YOU ! And YES, starting with someone new is scary, and sometimes anxiety-producing. I applaud you for taking this step.
Therapy is an educational process in which you are learning about you. I follow the pace of the client and can say that each person's journey to healing is different. I may have a compass to guide the process, but you are rowing the boat. There can be hard work on this exploration !
My experience as a therapist began in New York City, working in the field of domestic violence as a therapist and advocate. Living in New York City at that time, I had the opportunity and honor to work with people of various nationalities and cultures. I completed my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at New Mexico State University in 2000. I worked for, and directed, several community- based , not for profit agencies before I took the plunge to start my own business in 2005. I was in private practice off an on for 20 years, and since that time I have worked as a contractor in many capacities, with diverse populations.
With over 20 years of experience in the children services field, I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) dedicated to empowering individuals and families to overcome adversity and build resilient futures. Using evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify and challenge thinking errors, develop coping strategies, and rediscover their strengths. My mission is to foster hope, healing, and long-term in the live of others.

Hi there! As a mom and someone who has personally healed through Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic, and attachment-based work, I understand how past experiences can show up in relationships and parenting. Together, we’ll use inner child work, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed approaches to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself and your relationships.

My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.

Are you so used to bottling up your emotions that you can hardly remember a time when you didn’t just keep everything inside? You might believe deep down that you are broken, that it’s your fault you feel this way, and you will always need to hide who you really are and what you really feel from others. Hi, I’m Sylvia Bella. I work with teens who put a lot of pressure on themselves and often feel stuck, anxious, emotionally drained, or unsure of how to cope with everything they’re carrying. Many of the teens I support struggle with stress related to school, friendships, family dynamics, self-esteem, or constant self-doubt. Some begin shutting down, avoiding things they used to enjoy, or reacting in ways they don’t fully understand.
I also work closely with parents who want to better understand their teen, improve communication, and feel more confident supporting them through difficult moments.
In therapy, I help teens make sense of what they’re feeling, develop healthier ways to manage stress and emotions, and build confidence in themselves and their decisions. My approach is supportive, practical, and down-to-earth. I focus on creating a space where teens feel comfortable being honest without fear of judgment.
I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR, tailoring therapy to each teen’s individual needs and personality.
