Taking the first step into therapy is a significant decision, and I want our initial time together to feel both purposeful and welcoming. I view our first session as the start of a collaborative partnership, a dedicated space where we are getting to know each other. During this meeting, we will focus on three key areas: • Building Rapport: Above all, this is an opportunity for us to connect. It’s important that you feel comfortable and seen, ensuring that my personality and approach are the right fit for your unique journey. • Comprehensive Assessment: We will explore what brings you to therapy in this season of your life. By understanding your history and current challenges, I can begin to identify which of my integrative tools—from ACT and CBT to trauma-informed care—will best support your goals. • Clear Expectations: We will walk through the "housekeeping" together, reviewing consents to treatment and my practice policies so that you feel fully informed and secure in the therapeutic process from day one

When you choose to work with me, you are partnering with a therapist who balances clinical expertise with a deeply human, culturally attuned perspective. With over 8 years of experience across a wide range of settings, I have had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of individuals of all ages, each with their own unique story, challenges, and strengths. I don’t believe in forcing your experience into a single therapeutic box. Having worked with diverse populations facing everything from severe anxiety to complex grief, I have developed the fluency to pivot my approach in real-time. Whether we are utilizing a DBT skill for immediate relief, applying CBT to reframe persistent thoughts, or using Solution-Focused techniques to navigate a crisis, my methods always adapt to your needs—not the other way around. I also bring a vital layer of diversity and cultural nuance to the therapeutic room. I understand that your background and identity are central to your mental health, and I provide a space where those elements are honored, not overlooked. My personal favorite modality, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), allows us to look past the "symptoms" and focus on building a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you. From navigating major life transitions to healing from trauma, my years of experience have taught me that while pain is universal, the path to healing is personal.

They may feel like no one in their life truly gets what they’re experiencing or is willing to listen, and they’re ready for that to change.
