New to Grow
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just exhausted from trying to hold everything together? You don't have to navigate it alone. I am a LCSW working with teenagers and adults who are ready to break free from cycles of overthinking and self-doubt. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and compassionate. I tailor our sessions to fit your unique needs using practical tools from MI (Motivational Interviewing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). Together, we’ll build practical tools to help you breathe easier and move forward with confidence. Outside of session, you can find me hiking (with or without my dog), playing volleyball, volunteering in my church, and relaxing at home.
During the first session, I will ask questions about your mental health experiences and goals you want to work on within therapy. I will also review any assessments you completed before the session. We will also get to know each other and talk about everyday life.
I am a good listener and focus on what you may need within each session. Some sessions are for skill building and discussion, while some sessions can be focused on getting things off your chest.
I really enjoy working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and/or having relational difficulty. I work with a variety of ages, ranging from teenagers to older adults. Some people can be hesitant to talk or give many details, but I appreciate openness to discussing hard things and provide a safe space for these discussions. I think it is also helpful not to minimize whatever difficulty someone is experiencing.
