To be honest, turning to therapy can be a difficult first step toward personal growth. The decision to turn to someone to help you look within for answers to life problems and challenges can be one of the biggest decisions a person can make. However, you are not alone. Therapy has helped millions create a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques to assist you to release your fears and drop the habits that keep you from living your best life. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have served clients of all ages, and of various diverse backgrounds address their life challenges. Utilizing my therapeutic abilities, trainings and experience we will explore solutions to what troubles you most.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where the focus is on building a trusting and supportive relationship. I will begin by getting to know you (and your partner or family members, if applicable), creating space for everyone to share openly and without judgment. You'll be invited to discuss the challenges that brought you to therapy—whether it's relationship conflict, communication difficulties, emotional struggles, or life transitions. As your therapist, I will help normalize your experience, emphasizing that seeking help is a sign of strength and that many people face similar struggles. Together, you’ll begin identifying a clear goal or focus for therapy, whether that’s improving connection, resolving conflict, or healing from past pain. Our session will conclude with a collaborative commitment to the therapeutic process, setting the tone for a supportive journey toward insight, growth, and meaningful change.
Building a relationship with clients, I establish trusting connections where individuals feel open and safe to explore past experiences and trauma that interfere with everyday life. I practice an integrative approach to treatment, utilizing CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR and Trauma Informed Care to enhance your quality of life.
Marriage and Family therapist focus on the relationships surrounding individus to facilitate positive change during treatment within an individual. These relationship exist everywhere. Among marital couples, parents and children, extended family peers, coworkers and neighbors. Our relationship with our past, present and future play an equally important part in how we go about our day interacting with others. Regardless of the type of relationship, they all will evoke emotions within each and every one of us. My greatest success with clients have been with client successfully addressing the natures of these relationship and consciously and deliberately making the decision to change the relationship, to create the change, that creates their desired outcome.
The ideal individual and couple clientele for a therapeutic approach that incorporates Behavioral Therapy (BT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Informed Care are those who are motivated to engage in self-exploration, develop emotional regulation skills, and work through past traumas or current challenges. These clients may present with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship difficulties, or emotional dysregulation, and are open to both structured interventions and experiential techniques. Individuals may benefit from the skills-based focus of DBT and BT, combined with the grounding practices of mindfulness and the resilience-building of trauma-informed care. Couples who are struggling with communication issues, trust, emotional disconnect, or the impact of past trauma in their relationship may respond well to the solution-focused and emotionally integrative aspects of this approach. These clients value a collaborative, strength-based, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment that empowers them to create meaningful and lasting change.

Focuses on solutions over personal comfortability addressing them. Above all making it make sense, in the process!!
