Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio and also licensed in Texas. I'm a Baylor University alumnae and I've been counseling for 19 years. I help teens and adults battling with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma work through those issues. If you are struggling with work/life balance and/or socially related concerns, we will create a strategy that you can put into your toolbox to ensure that even after your therapy sessions are finished, you know what you need to do to remain healthy.

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with adults experiencing mental and emotional distress for the past 18 years, I've developed a playbook to help you work through past issues, build a firm foundation for where you are now, and offer skills and strategies to use as a springboard into your future! We will create a personal strategy that identifies the root causes and barriers to your goals. We will also focus on your sustainability plan, from the beginning, so you know how to hold on to the progress you make.

I love working with adult women between the ages of 30-60 who are dealing with the same life stressors as everyone else, but you're trying to do so as a follower of Christ. My clients want to be successful in life, but do not yet have the tools needed to make their goals a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life and what's ahead of them. Comparison and overworking themselves for others is threatening to destroy their dreams.

I genuinely look forward to my sessions with Soneakqua White LPC/ LPCC. She's direct, funny, and solution-oriented while still making me feel heard.
