LPCC, 4 years of experience
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I take a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, focusing on the whole individual—mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic space where we can work together to address challenges, foster personal growth, and build lasting resilience. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, or life transitions, I’m here to support you in a way that honors your unique journey and values.
In our first session, we will begin with an intake process where we’ll discuss what’s brought you to therapy at this point in your life, as well as your personal history, and your goals. This is a chance for me to get to know you better and understand your goals, so I can determine if I’m the right therapist to support you. Together, we’ll then create a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, focusing on your current concerns and how we can work toward the changes you’re hoping to achieve.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients. This connection allows us to work together effectively, which often leads to significant progress. I also approach therapy with a trauma-centered lens, ensuring that every client feels safe, heard, and affirmed. This approach helps create a supportive environment where clients can feel empowered to explore and heal at their own pace.
I work with clients from young adults to older individuals, who are navigating a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, and LGBTQ+ concerns.
I take a person-centered approach, which simply means our work together is all about you. I’m here to support you without judgment, to really listen, and to help create a space where you feel safe to be fully yourself. I trust that you know what you need—and I’m here to walk alongside you as that becomes clearer.
I am a certified EMDR clinician. EMDR is a guided process that helps your mind and body let go of old pain, stress, or memories that feel “stuck.” You don’t have to talk through everything in detail—we’ll move at your pace, and I’ll be with you every step of the way. If it feels right for you, EMDR can be a powerful way to feel lighter, more grounded, and more like yourself again.
Sometimes our thoughts can get stuck in loops that leave us feeling anxious, down, or overwhelmed. In our work together, I use CBT to help you notice those patterns and gently shift them. We’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected—and find practical, supportive ways to change the ones that aren’t helping you. It’s not about “thinking positive,” but about being kinder to yourself and seeing things more clearly.
Being trauma-informed means I approach every session with safety, choice, and compassion at the center. I won’t push you to share anything before you’re ready, and I’ll always honor your pace. Whether or not you identify with the word “trauma,” I hold space for all the ways life can impact us—and I’ll support you with care, curiosity, and zero judgment.
