LISW, 30 years of experience
New to Grow
Welcome to my practice. I am dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and solution-focused — I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and together we’ll identify practical steps to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or personal growth, my goal is to help you find clarity, resilience, and a sense of balance.
During your first session, we’ll complete a thorough psychosocial evaluation. This means we’ll talk in detail about what’s bringing you to therapy, your background, and any relevant life experiences. The goal of this session is to help me gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs so we can determine the most appropriate level of care and treatment approach moving forward.
My greatest strengths in Solution-Focused Therapy include fostering a collaborative, strengths-based relationship and maintaining a strong sense of optimism. I’m skilled at helping clients reframe challenges, create attainable goals, recognize their own capacities, and move toward meaningful change through small, realistic steps.
I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives but may feel unsure where to start. My clients are often navigating life transitions, managing stress or anxiety, or seeking greater balance and fulfillment. Many are high-functioning in their day-to-day lives yet find themselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their goals and values. I work well with adults who appreciate a collaborative, practical, and compassionate approach — people who want to focus on solutions, build on their strengths, and take meaningful steps toward lasting growth. Whether you’re seeking clarity, coping skills, or a new perspective, my role is to support and guide you as you create the changes that matter most to you.
Solution-Focused Therapy is a type of counseling that helps you focus on what’s working in your life and how to create more of it, rather than spending most of the time analyzing problems or the past. Instead of exploring everything that’s gone wrong, we’ll work together to identify your strengths, resources, and small steps that can move you toward the changes you want to see. You don’t have to have all the answers — the goal is to build on what you already know and have done successfully before. Even small shifts can lead to meaningful progress.
