With genuine care and commitment, I’m here to walk alongside you—supporting you through life’s challenges as we work together toward growth, healing, and balance. I believe therapy works best when there’s real connection, so here’s a little about me: I share my home with a spunky little Chiweenie named Maple (have you ever met one before?), and I find a lot of peace and clarity in nature. I also love discovering new bands and collecting band t shirts at concerts. I value the opportunity to build a trusting relationship and would be honored to be part of your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a welcoming space for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong, supportive connection. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to get out of it, and explore any patterns that might be getting in the way of the life you want to live.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I’m deeply committed to the growth and well-being of each person I work with. I take the time to truly understand your unique experiences and values. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT, along with trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and a culturally sensitive lens to tailor our work to your specific needs. At the heart of my practice is a genuine investment in helping you heal, grow, and create meaningful change. Your progress matters to me.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and have experience supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. My specialties include treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and select personality disorders. I provide compassionate care to adults at all stages of life—from college students to those navigating careers, relationships, and family responsibilities.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am DBT-certified and have several years of experience applying Dialectical Behavior Therapy with individuals. DBT offers a wealth of practical skills that bring a more action-oriented approach to therapy, providing exercises designed to foster the growth and change clients are striving for. DBT helps individuals achieve a balance between logical thinking and emotional responses, fostering a more integrated and effective decision-making process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize and challenge negative thought patterns they may be struggling with. Together, we explore the interconnectedness of thoughts, feelings, and actions, examining how each influences and impacts the others. We collaborate on setting goals and identifying coping skills that will support them on their journey to mental well-being.

Attachment-based

Attachment theory offers valuable insights into why we engage in certain relationship patterns. I often incorporate this framework in therapy sessions to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and use that awareness to grow and transform their relationship dynamics.

Trauma Informed Care

This approach allows me to provide an understanding of how past trauma can impact current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered, and work at a pace that respects each person’s comfort level. By focusing on building trust, fostering resilience, and helping clients regain a sense of control, trauma-informed therapy supports healing without re-traumatization.
