My name is Alahya Clayborn, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I specialize in systemic and strategic family therapy models. My counseling philosophy is grounded in the belief that healing occurs through our attachment and interactions and by transforming the systems around us. With expertise in relationships, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and depression, I focus on creating meaningful and lasting change. I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate their challenges and achieve their fullest potential.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions (Who are you?) , this joining session will be relaxing! This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I am reliable, collaborative, helpful and solution-focused. The goal is to get better and start to work towards healing.
I love working with families and young adults! My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers, relationships or academics.

Attachment-based
Throughout my clinical experience, I worked directly with teens, adults and couples and begin to explore their thoughts on how their attachment is linked to trauma and early childhood stages. Through psycho-education individuals understand how their attachment impact them within adulthood, such as interpersonal relationships and personal relationships.

Very welcoming and understanding she is a great listener and comes up with solutions to any issue you have I was so nervous about therapy and ever since I have been talking with her I have been feeling a lot better and I feel comfortable talking to her about anything and she gives honest feedback she is the best I highly recommend
