About me

Welcome! As a board-certified psychotherapist, I am here to be a support. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I'm glad you're here. If you've been feeling stuck, anxious, or just not like yourself lately, I want you to know you don't have to navigate that alone. I am passionate about supporting adolescents and adults using an authentic, curious, and compassionate approach.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is essentially a "get to know you" conversation. We will focus on what is bringing you to therapy in this moment and discuss your goals. There is no need to have all the answers right away; we are simply beginning the process at a pace that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In our work together, we’ll use practical tools and evidence-based methods to help you progress. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and centered on you. I aim to create a space where you can feel safe to be fully yourself. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental space where you feel truly understood and validated as we work towards the life you want to create. Evidence-based methods include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) among others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who feel 'stuck in the middle'—those who know they want their lives to look different but feel held back by cycles of self-doubt, anxiety, depression, or conflicting priorities. I work exceptionally well with clients who are contemplating change but feel overwhelmed by the 'how.' I thrive with clients who value a balance of deep empathy and practical structure. During my time as a licensed therapist, I have helped clients navigate the complexities of anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, stress, and significant life changes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our sessions, we work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns—like assuming the worst or being overly self-critical—and learn how to replace them with more realistic, balanced perspectives. By changing how you think about a situation and adjusting your actions, you can effectively shift how you feel and better manage your emotional distress.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In our sessions, we work together to help you manage intense, overwhelming emotions and improve their relationships. The "dialectical" part means we work on balancing two seemingly opposite ideas: accepting yourself as you are right now while simultaneously working hard to change your behavior to build a better life.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

In our work, we gradually and safely expose you to the thoughts or situations that trigger your anxiety, while you practice the 'response prevention' which means choosing not to perform the usual ritual or avoidant behavior that provides temporary relief. Over time, this process helps your brain learn through experience that the feared outcome is unlikely to happen, or that you are capable of handling the discomfort if it does.

Motivational Interviewing

The goal of MI is to help you "talk yourself into change" by identifying how certain behaviors might conflict with your deeply held values and future goals. Through a supportive and nonjudgmental conversation, we tap into your own reasons, strengths, and wisdom to build a plan for change that feels authentic and sustainable for you.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a specialized approach designed to help you process and heal from difficult or scary life events. We work together to understand how your trauma has affected your thoughts and feelings, giving you a structured way to regain a sense of safety and control.

Charielle is an amazing listener who brings a compassionate, therapeutic approach that promotes healing in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. She is transparent and understands what it takes for her clients to truly do the work. I especially appreciate how she celebrates the steps her clients take toward healing while continuing to provide encouragement and support throughout the process. I feel heard, supported, and encouraged, and I’m excited to continue working with her.

I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve ever felt truly comfortable opening up to a therapist. She has created a space where I feel heard, understood, and never judged. She is incredibly intelligent, insightful, and empowering, and she has helped me work through some very difficult situations in my life while helping me recognize my own strength and make healthier decisions. What I appreciate most is that she doesn’t just listen—she helps me look at situations from different perspectives
