New to Grow
I’m Sarah! I offer online therapy for adults in Ohio and Colorado. Many of the people I work with are doing their best—but feel stretched thin, stuck in the same patterns, and unsure of how to calm the noise in their mind and body. In therapy, we’ll look at what’s happening beneath the surface: the stress response, the thoughts and emotions it stirs, and how all of that impacts your life and relationships. My approach blends practical, evidence-based tools (CBT, mindfulness) with body-based and energy-psychology practices, so you’re not just “talking about it”—you’re learning how to shift it. I aim to create a space that feels safe, warm, and grounded—where you can understand yourself with more compassion and feel empowered to move toward the life and relationships you most want.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you in. I’ll ask what kind of support you’re looking for, and you can ask me any questions you have. I’ll also share how I work and what therapy with me typically looks like. We’ll go over your current concerns, your mental and physical health history, and anything important from your past that helps me understand the full picture. Before we wrap up, we’ll begin clarifying your goals—what you want to feel different, what you want to change, and what you want to build in your life and relationships—so you leave with a clear sense of next steps.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Clients often tell me they feel safe with me quickly—like they can finally exhale and share what’s really going on. I’m naturally curious and I listen closely, which helps us get to the root of things instead of staying on the surface. I also bring practical, repeatable tools that help you shift how you feel—not just understand why you feel that way. I care a lot about therapy that translates into real life. The tools we use are ones I trust and practice myself, because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected—and I want what we do together to be realistic, doable, and effective on an ordinary day. My goal is to help you let go of old patterns, step out of blame and reactivity, and build real emotional steadiness—so you can access your own clarity, strength, and inner power.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m a great fit for you if you’re ready to be an active partner in your therapy. You’re open to learning tools, trying them in real life between sessions, and gently exploring what’s happening beneath the surface. You might be navigating stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, a recent upsetting event, or relationship challenges, and you’re looking for support that’s warm, practical, and focused on steady, meaningful, sustainable change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT-informed strategies to help clients understand the link between thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and behavior—and to change patterns that keep them stuck.
Somatic
I integrate somatic, body-based practices to support emotion regulation, reduce overwhelm, and help clients access what they feel.
Mind-body approach
I combine nervous-system regulation with practical cognitive and behavior-change tools so progress isn’t just insight—it’s embodied and repeatable.
