Motivational Therapy and Positive Psychology work and they can be applied to work for you. Support, insight, awareness, and growth, are associated with therapy for a reason. There IS help for a wide variety of problems that may have you feeling anxious or hopeless today.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Session #1 is often used as a "get to know you" appointment since therapist and client must decide if the relationship is the "right fit" for success.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My style is enthusiastic & engaging in a comfortable relaxed manner. Therapy can be fun & entertaining, when appropriate. Counseling can provide laughter & compassion, while helping you achieve the change & success you want. People of all ages often talk about how enjoyable our sessions are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change the destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behavior and emotions.

Motivational Interviewing

MI is practiced with an underlying spirit or way of being with people: Partnership. MI is a collaborative process. The MI practitioner is an expert in helping people change; people are the experts of their own lives.

Eclectic

Eclectic therapy is an approach that draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques. It is a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy that allows the therapist to use the most effective methods available to address each individual client's needs.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

is a short-term goal-focused evidence-based therapeutic approach, which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices, and which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
