About me

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in CA. I earned my Master's degree from California State University-Long Beach in 2016, but have been serving communities in the field of Social Work for over a decade. I have been developing my clinical practice for at least 4 years and have served dozens of adults struggling with anxiety, depression a and complex trauma through private practice.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will be introduced and delve deeper into the issues affecting you that brings you to therapy. We will, then, collaborate to create a plan that addresses each challenge and leads you to your personal goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over a decade of experience working with women, I’ve honed the skills to identify the underlying issues affecting each client and develop tailored treatment plans that support them in achieving their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m passionate about walking alongside women, mothers, and birthing parents who are navigating anxiety and depression tied to relationship challenges, pregnancy, parenting, life transitions, school, work, or financial stress. I know how overwhelming it can feel to be everything for everyone else and have nothing left for yourself. My clients often seek support with setting healthy boundaries, prioritizing self-care, or managing anxious thoughts around parenting and family dynamics. You don’t have to figure it all out alone—I'm here to support you every step of the way. At this time, my practice focuses on individual therapy, so I’m not accepting couples or family therapy clients.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often utilize cognitive behavioral therapy interventions to enhance awareness of unhelpful thought patterns and core beliefs that influence undesirable behaviors and decisions to help clients to gain control of their lives.

EMDR

I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. By addressing past distressing memories and reprocessing negative beliefs about themselves and the world, EMDR helps clients break free from feeling stuck and move closer to the life they want to create.

Keesha really began to help me understand that I need to make a change in my life. My trauma isn’t going to fix itself. I appreciate her helping me to identify a lot of my pain. I am now able to name it. I’m able to talk about how it makes me feel. I’ve truly come along way with her.
