Hi there, my name’s Ephraim Tokar. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
Grace and hope are at the heart of the work I do. I believe that positive change is possible, and I’m here to help you take meaningful steps toward feeling more confident in your daily life. Taking the first step toward reaching your goals is a big step and you are worth it!
I work with adults seeking support for everyday challenges such as stress, work-life balance, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, ADHD, emotional regulation concerns, depression, anxiety, career goal setting, communication skills, or life transitions. My approach is solution-focused, which means we will work together to identify practical tools and strategies you can begin using right away. Whether you are adjusting to a new role, improving communication, or building healthier habits, I aim to provide support that will help you achieve your goals.
For clients who value Christian faith as part of their journey, I also offer the option to incorporate prayer and biblical wisdom into our work together.
My goal is to create a supportive and focused space where you can build skills, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

You may be the person everyone depends on, yet still find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. Maybe you’re navigating a difficult relationship, grieving a loss, struggling with self-esteem, or carrying emotional burdens that have built up over time.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and also a School Social Worker. I believe healing happens when we take the time to understand the experiences, relationships, and life events that have shaped us. Often, the challenges that bring people to therapy are connected to deeper layers of their story that deserve attention, compassion, and understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore what’s weighing on you, gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop tools to support meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life with confidence and clarity.
You may look like you have things together on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning, responsible, and used to being the one others rely on, yet privately feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to slow down and take care of themselves.
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Often, they are managing demanding careers, family responsibilities, or relationship stress while quietly feeling like it is never enough or wondering why things still feel so heavy.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), specializing in helping clients understand and shift long-standing emotional and relational patterns that keep them feeling stuck.
Clients often describe me as easy to talk to and appreciate that they can be fully honest in a way they may not feel comfortable doing elsewhere. I provide a space where you do not have to filter yourself.
I also bring a broad perspective shaped by living in different parts of the U.S. and traveling extensively internationally, which has deepened my ability to connect with people from many backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.
In addition, my experience in Corporate America leadership roles gives me a strong understanding of workplace pressure, burnout, performance expectations, and the emotional toll of high-responsibility environments.
Hi, I’m Shelby! Congrats on taking the first step towards achieving the peace you deserve. You’ve done the hard part already, and I’d love to help you the rest of the way.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana providing Telehealth therapy services. I specialize in trauma recovery and a modern understanding of grief, one that recognizes that loss isn’t just about death, but about any life-altering change that leaves a void. Trauma doesn’t just live in the past, it lives in our dreams, our bodies, and the gaps in our memories. If you are experiencing ‘forgotten’ memories, bad dreams, or the aftermath of sexual abuse, you don’t have to carry that weight alone. I specialize in trauma recovery and a modern understanding of grief, one that recognizes that loss isn’t just about death, but about any life-altering change that leaves a void.
I advocate for a modern understanding of grief: loss is about much more than death. We can grieve a lost childhood, a sense of safety, a relationship, or a version of ourselves we didn’t get to become. Whether your pain feels loud or like a quiet, persistent void, I provide a compassionate space to process these "invisible" wounds.

Hi! My name is Bianca, I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent over a decade in the lives of people who needed someone in their corner. From community centers to classrooms to living rooms, I've worked alongside children, families, teenage girls finding their voice, kids who had every reason not to trust another adult, and everyday people just trying to make it through. That range shaped me. I work with children, teens, young adults, and families carrying trauma, transitions, and the weight of just trying to hold it together — and I'm committed to making sure cost is never the reason someone doesn't get support. People heal when they feel safe and truly seen. That's the work.

My approach with therapy is to provide a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to work through what has been weighing on you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Louisville, Kentucky and I specialize in working with people who are either struggling with Substance Abuse or Mental Health issues, or who are trying to support a Loved One who is struggling with these issues, and feels overwhelmed by the circumstances.
I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore the issues that are concerning you now. I believe that you are the expert on the things that do and don't work in your life but when life becomes overwhelming, we can sometimes lose sight of these skills and knowledge. I have found that many people often underestimate how much they know about themselves and others, and underestimate the strength that they posess to cope with and overcome the struggles that they experience. much more about themselves than they give themselves credit for, and I see part of my role as helping you unlock this knowledge and apply it in your life in ways that work best for you.
While there may be times that you feel like you are not making progress, you will find that you are making more progress than you realize. We sometimes have more difficulty seeing the progress and positive qualities than we do in others. I will help guide you to see the strength and goodness that you possess and help you to see that the overall arc of our lives bends towards improvement
With everything that is happening in our society, How are you managing? Are you struggling with family, work, health? Are you finding it difficult to take care of yourself? Do you feel anxious, depressed, overwhelmed? Are you feeling lost or like you don't know where to turn? Are you trying to find pathways to knowledge, understanding, empowerment, and peace? GJS H.O.P.E. (Honoring Ourselves as Powerful Entities) LLC can certainly help you figure it out.

You can call me Dan. From a young age I was interested in a career that focused on helping people. I smile when I think about it, but there was a time I thought a career in medicine was what I wanted but I am so bad at math that didn't work out very well. There was a time I thought I was being called into ministry as a pastor, and I wanted to be a pastor that could counsel, but circumstances didn't allow that to happen either. Maybe it's ironic and maybe it's not but I'm not really that much of a talker so I never dreamed that becoming a therapist would be my thing. But then again, therapy is a lot about listening and I do that really well. I enjoy helping others move from places of frustration, and sometimes despair to places of hope and healing. I have always been taught that people deserve respect and to be treated with dignity regardless of what their issue is or where they come from and that is a value I continue to hold. I also find it interesting that the three careers I pursued had their focus in the three things I still believe are important for a life of fulfillment, purpose, and contentment and those are physical health, spiritual health and mental health.
I received a Masters of Divinity degree in 1991, a Masters in Social Work degree in 1996 and my License as a Clinical Social Worker in 1997. I went back to school in 2016 and obtained a MBA in Healthcare Management in 2017. My 30 year career in mental health has been split between providing clinical services, supervising others in their provision of clinical services and administration in the area of Healthcare Quality and Compliance.
My strength is my warmth and quickness in building a trusting where my clients feel truly cared for. I am creative with collaborating on solutions, creative in the interventions I choose. I am thoughtful in making meaningful connections within the material processed. I am a well-rounded therapist with both practical CBT skills and a training in family systems theory background. I have 3 years of experience working under an associate license within welfare services as a therapist for children, parents, and within the foster care system, with experience navigating difficult circumstances. Within this community I have been selected as a therapist experienced in trauma work to be specifically recommended to clients with sexual trauma. My practicum experience is as a school counselor where I worked with children with trauma and struggling with self-harm and ideation.

I am looking forward to meeting you!

I invite you to embark on a journey towards healing and well-being, where together, we can navigate the path to a more fulfilling and balanced life.
I believe that when someone seeks therapy, they are reaching out because they want to move forward, feel less stuck, or find new ways to live well. I hold deep conviction that a meaningful, valued life is possible for anyone—even in the presence of disability, chronic pain or illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, or overwhelming life stress. I see psychotherapy as a collaborative space where we can discover the right pace and rhythm for facing those challenges: sometimes steady and gentle, sometimes more active and focused, always tailored to the person in front of me.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe each individual is the expert of their own life, with a unique story, identity, and set of experiences. I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other; to meet the distinct needs of every individual, couple, and family I work with.
My approach is rooted in the belief that healing and growth occur when clients feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where people of all ages—children, young adults, adults, couples, and families; can explore their challenges, develop deeper self-understanding, and strengthen their relationships. I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, and I am committed to offering each person unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and respect as they move toward healing and wholeness.

Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Northwest Indiana. I am licensed in both Indiana and Illinois and services population in the Chicagoland area as well. Are you carrying pain that no one else can see? Maybe you’re showing up every day, doing what you have to do—but inside, you’re overwhelmed, stuck, or just trying to survive. You might feel like something is “off,” or that you’re too much, or not enough. If you're navigating life after trauma, grief, or complicated relationships, you are not alone—and you don’t have to do this alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, and life’s hardest moments. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and parts work inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Families today are under a great deal of pressure, and many parents and children feel overwhelmed as a result. When stress builds over time, relationships can suffer—especially within families. I believe understanding these patterns is one of the most important steps toward meaningful change.
I bring over 38 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I offer a supportive, strength-based space where people can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I work with ADHD, anxiety, depression, school-related concerns, divorce, and family relationship challenges. My approach is thoughtful and direct while remaining respectful and collaborative. I view children’s struggles within the context of their families and believe lasting change happens when caregivers are actively involved and supported.

Whatever your issue may be, I am up for the challenge and hope I can help to make things better for you!

I have a Doctorate in Psychology and am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been working as a therapist for over 16 years. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and LGBTQIA issues. I believe that therapy should be a safe place to talk about personal issues without any judgment. We all need someone to talk to and therapy provides that space where you can be yourself. We all go through some things from time to time and should be able allowed to talk with someone who is willing to listen and provide us with the support that we need.
I’m an experienced LCSW who works with adults feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, or major life changes. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and begin making sense of what you’ve been carrying. My approach is practical and steady, helping you understand your patterns, reduce stress, and build strategies that make daily life feel more balanced, manageable, and aligned with what you want moving forward.
As a clinician, I bring curiosity, creativity, and a sense of openness to the therapy room. My interests in art, roller skating, and travel reflect how I move through the world: with curiosity, adaptability, and an appreciation for growth through new experiences. I tend to approach therapy in a similar way: collaboratively, with room for exploration, creativity, and the understanding that meaningful change often happens step by step.

Hi! I'm a licensed mental health counselor who has been working as a therapist for 3 years. Something brought you here today. Maybe it's the exhaustion of always being on edge, or a sense that your body hasn't felt safe in a very long time. Whatever it was, I'm glad you followed it.
I'm a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Indiana and Montana. I've spent my career walking alongside people through some of life's most complicated terrain: trauma, identity, nervous system overwhelm, and the quiet grief that comes from feeling like you've never quite fit.
My work is rooted in somatic and relational approaches, which means we pay attention not just to your thoughts and story, but to what your body has been carrying. Healing isn't only a cognitive process. It lives in the nervous system, and I'll help you learn to work with yours.
I specialize in trauma, particularly the kind rooted in childhood, relationships, and the experience of moving through the world in a brain that works differently. I work with neurodivergent adults who are discovering and exploring later in life that there's always been a name for the way their mind works. For many, this realization brings both relief and grief. And parents of neurodivergent children who are stretched thin and searching for steadier ground.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I don't take lightly the courage it takes to reach out. My goal is simple: to create a space where you feel genuinely understood. Not managed, not diagnosed, just met.
I'm so glad you're here.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, postpartum mental health challenges, and OCD. Many of my clients are high-functioning—they’re used to managing everything on their own, but feel overwhelmed by overthinking, intrusive thoughts, or constant stress. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood while helping you make meaningful, lasting changes so you can feel more calm, confident, and in control.
Congratulations on seeking therapy! Most people who seek therapy or counseling report that they experience an improvement in mood and anxiety. Timing is everything and I can generally see you within 48 hours. Unfortunately, many folks have to wait weeks to see a therapist. I believe I am easy to talk to and approachable. Therapists are excellent listeners and I will be honest with you, rather than just agreeing or dismissing your opinions. If you see me and we establish a plan, you will be able to determine how much you need and for how long. Since most of what I am doing involves Telehealth, I ask that you cancel ahead of time if you cannot meet per schedule. I will do this as well.
As your therapist, I will:
Respect your privacy
Respect your schedule
Respect your opinions and values
Respect the severity and urgency of your difficulties
Make myself available when you need assistance
Help you find answers and solutions rather than feeling “stuck"

Those who are over the empty platitudes and ready for real change. I have an LCSW/LCADC. I hold a BSW and an MSSW from the Kent School. Let’s cut through the nonsense: trauma, addiction, mental health issues. they suck. But you know what sucks more? Pretending like everything’s fine and letting them control your life. Together, we’ll work through the heavy stuff. We’ll get into the mess, sort it out, and figure out how you can finally breathe a little easier. Therapy with me isn’t some endless loop of “and how does that make you feel?” It’s a collaborative process where I bring my expertise to the table, and you bring your courage to face what’s been holding you back.
