My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

In my practice, I use this method through a trauma-informed lens by focusing on safety, choice, collaboration, trust, and empowerment. I move at the client’s pace, integrate grounding and regulation skills, and check in often to prevent retraumatization. I also provide psychoeducation so clients understand what is happening in their bodies and minds, which reduces fear and builds confidence. I adapt interventions to each person’s history and strengths, combining structured techniques with mindfulness or narrative work as needed. This approach helps clients process difficult experiences while developing resilience, reframing harmful beliefs, and building healthier coping skills. It supports both healing and a renewed sense of control over their lives.
