Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 14 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida and am currently licensed to practice in Florida, Maine, Virginia, Arizona, and Colorado. While I reside in Florida, I work with clients across these states through telehealth. My approach is compassionate and collaborative—I believe in helping clients recognize their own strengths and inner resilience to create meaningful change. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I'm here to support you in finding balance, clarity, and healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space where they can begin to share what’s bringing them to therapy. We'll talk about your current challenges, personal goals, and any past experiences that feel important to your healing process. I’ll also ask some questions to better understand your history and overall well-being, which helps me tailor our work to your unique needs. This session is also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. Most importantly, it’s the beginning of building a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to take the next steps in your journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I bring deep empathy, patience, and a calm, grounded presence to my work, which helps clients open up and feel supported—even when discussing difficult or vulnerable topics. I also draw on over 14 years of clinical experience and a range of evidence-based approaches, allowing me to adapt my style to meet each client’s unique needs. I’m especially skilled at helping clients identify their inner strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical tools to manage life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Finally, my personal experiences, including navigating grief and loss, allow me to connect with clients on a deeply human level. I believe in the power of resilience and work collaboratively to help people move forward with compassion, self-awareness, and purpose.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to support adults who are navigating life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who appear to be managing well on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about their path forward. I also work well with those who may be hesitant to seek help at first, but are open to growth once they feel safe, heard, and understood. Clients who benefit most from our work together are those ready to explore their inner world, willing to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and interested in developing practical coping strategies they can use in everyday life. My style is grounded, supportive, and collaborative—I aim to meet clients where they are and walk alongside them as they work toward clarity, healing, and personal empowerment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients develop effective coping strategies and challenge intrusive thoughts that may be contributing to their anxiety. I also assign targeted homework to reinforce therapeutic techniques and encourage clients to apply these skills in their daily lives outside of sessions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in building distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills. I assign DBT-based homework to encourage clients to practice these techniques between sessions, promoting greater self-awareness and long-term skill integration.

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) to enhance clients’ intrinsic motivation for change by fostering a collaborative and non-judgmental environment. Through guided conversations, clients are encouraged to explore their ambivalence, recognize their personal strengths, and identify their own reasons for growth and change.
