Hello, I’m Valerie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker excited to help individuals and families deal with challenges in their lives. I have a Master of Social Work degree and have many years of experience working with children, teens, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and anger. I have worked in a hospital both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. My approach to therapy is client centered, empathic and focuses on empowering the client to identify and implement positive coping skills in their daily life to help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

In our first session, my goal will be to create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to share your current struggles and to identify your goals for therapy. I will engage in building a rapport with you and supporting you through your journey in therapy.
