I am an accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Indiana and am also licensed in Michigan. My experience has given me nearly 20 years of working with adults, couples and families. I specialize in providing comprehensive therapeutic support to individuals navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions. With a commitment to evidence-based best practices, I employ a tailored approach that empowers clients to develop coping techniques and skills essential for managing and overcoming obstacles that hinder their ability to lead productive and fulfilling lives. My empathetic and client-centered approach creates a safe space for collaborative exploration and growth, fostering resilience and positive transformation. I invite you to embark on a journey towards healing and well-being, where together, we can navigate the path to a more fulfilling and balanced life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the initial session with me, clients can anticipate a compassionate and collaborative exploration of their unique experiences and concerns. This time is dedicated to establishing a genuine connection, where I seek to understand your goals, challenges, and aspirations. We'll discuss your history, current struggles, and any specific areas you wish to address. My approach is rooted in creating a safe and non-judgmental space, fostering an atmosphere of trust and openness. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery, identifying strengths and developing a personalized roadmap for your therapeutic journey. I aim to instill a sense of empowerment by collaboratively setting achievable goals and introducing evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs. By the end of the first session, clients often gain insights, a clearer perspective, and a shared vision for the transformative work ahead. I am committed to ensuring that every client feels heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning, laying the foundation for a meaningful and impactful therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a dedicated and experienced therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to establish authentic connections and create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT in my practice for several years. It has helped many clients challenge negative thinking and manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have been trained in DBT since 2006. DBT is helpful for those with Borderline Personality Disorder and those who struggle with regulating emotions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy is very valuable as it can help with a multitude of issues and diagnoses. (I.e. anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, emotion regulation, distress tolerance)

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a helpful tool to increase the likelihood of positive change.
