My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

I am a certified Yoga, Meditation and mindfulness teacher as well as a licensed therapist with over twelve years experience. I use a combination of somatic, cognitive, and dialectical therapy for nervous system support and to process emotions for clients.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT techniques to reframe thought and behavior patterns that no longer serve them.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a system rooted in mindfulness that educates clients on maladaptive thought and behavior patterns while utilizing coping skills to increase awareness and provide support for emotional distress.

Somatic

Somatic therapy is focused on identifying, and releasing physical and emotional pain, and/or trauma in the body. This can be done through gentle postures for opening and relaxing the body, breathing exercise exercises, and/or visualization.
